House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy told Breitbart News that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has no place in the modern Republican Party and that the big business lobby is not going to be welcome back if and when Republicans are back in power.
McCarthy’s comments came during the latest On The Hill long-form video special, taped in December at an Eastern Market establishment on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
“The Chamber left the party a long time ago,” McCarthy said. “In the last election, the Chamber supported Democrats. The Chamber gave a higher score to Democrats who are voting for this policy because they signed some letter then voted the opposite of what the letter said than Kevin Brady who was chair of Ways and Means and brought us the tax cuts. I just assume they have as much influence in the future as they do now—none. Our responsibility is to the American public. That is who’s going to drive it. If special interests are the American public then they’ll have a say, but it’s the American public we’re going to.”

McCarthy is a snake. He held back legislation in CA that would protect against H1-b immigration abuse AGAINST AMERICAN WORKERS.
Talk is cheap. What exactly has McCarthy DONE in the last 12 months to support us? NADA, ZIP, ZILCH, ZERO, EMPTY SET. Both he and the turtle need to go and we need true leadership.
McCarthy can talk tough, but he cannot explain why GOP leaders like Gov Kristi Noem kowtow to the C of C at a moments notice.

Right. But up until recently their rhetoric to the base usually consisted of promises of tax cuts & flag burning amendments liberally sprinkled with free market pap.

Why would we elect a leader from a State the GOP never wins Statewide?
Elect leaders from Red States.
We will not get new leadership until we have new membership.

Re-electing the same Assistant Democrats will get us the same leadership.
Typical “tough talk” that RINO ‘s like to use in order to win elections.
Trump is still endorsing Bush League Republicans.
In 2020 he endorsed Flimsey Grahamnesty, McConnell, Ernst, Tillis, and slew of other Bush League Republicans.
In 2022 he has so far endorsed Amnesty Senator Micro Rubio, Porkulus II voting Crapo, Grassley and other Bush Leaguers.
Agree. Until proven wrong, I believe his current position is a covert plea for donations. The only way McCarthy could validate his position would be to require all caucus members to return CoC donations.

The GOP has to stop supporting communist Democrats slimeballs who put an R beside their names.
It is self-destruction for the party to compromise like this and pure insanity to believe that having these (R) Democrats alongside true Republicans to gain/hold a majority, means we really have a majority. We don’t. We have prevented ourselves from getting a majority, because we allowed communist Democrats with (R) beside their name to hold a position that should have been filled with an authentic Republican.
So is the Chamber of Commerce, only it's a much bigger snake.
The message is starting to hit home.
