An Upstate New York wedding photographer has lost her bid to refuse service to same-sex couples after a federal judge dismissed with prejudice her lawsuit against the state.
Emilee Carpenter, a photographer and blogger based in the Southern Tier, sued the state in April, alleging that the state’s human rights law violated her First Amendment rights to free speech, free association, and free religious expression. She also said the law violated the establishment clause and her right to due process.
Carpenter named New York Attorney General Letitia James and Interim Human Rights Commissioner Jonathan Smith as defendants.
Carpenter said that the law violates her First Amendment right to freely exercise her religion because she uses her wedding photography business to exercise and express her religious beliefs about marriage.

Please do not use the misnomer “homosexual.” The correct term is “sodomite.” That is what they are, and that is what they do. The word “homosexual” was invented to make the pretense that acts of sodomy are in some way on par with heterosexual procreation.
Being intrinsically closed to the transmission of life, acts of sodomy are by definition not “sex.” They are the perverse acts of reprobate minds. Acts of sodomy are intrinsically disordered because they are contrary to God’s intended design and purpose of the human reproductive system. Such behavior is violently opposed to human nature.
Likewise, the absconding of the word “gay,” redefined so to replace the term “homosexual,” is just as perverse in its intention to normalize and make light of that which is purely evil in its nature.
We must stop using the enemy’s terms, and restore to our lexicon the terms that accurately describe the acts which these reprobates actually commit.

If she was a mad Mo follower and the pair of bum bandits wanted a pic of Mo with a bomb in his turban, she would be praised for taking a stand against islamophobic homos.
I think if I were in that situation, I would subcontract the work out to someone else and let them have the entire fee, save for a small “finders fee” for the time I had to spend servicing their service (finding another photographer, baker, florist, etc). And then I would make it my business to have a list of other service providers who were comfortable with whatever I wasn’t, that I could slide the actual work to. That way I did provide the work, it was adequate, and I want forced to do something against my conscience or anyone else’s - plus I would be helping others to find work. Win/win/win!
