Can't help but wonder if Liz Cheney has been offered complete rehabilitation of her dad if she will play ball with Washington elites. Her dad was earlier targeted to go down as one of the worst R's; now he can be brought in from the cold and - perhaps - get a state funeral when the time comes. All Liz has to do is do as she is told - and that may not be all that different than what she already intends to do.

If CarpetKneesKamala ever praised me, I’m not sure what I would do. My reaction would likely be noteworthy. In a dream the night of the last presidential election, Beat-O 0’Rourke approached me in a hallway - like the hallway in the back of a stage area - and sort of grabbed me and forced me to dance a few steps with him. (At that point in the day I was sure that Trump had won, so this was very confusing.) I noticed in horror I had a corsage on my wrist, like for prom (which I never went to). I recoiled and shoved him away, and he laughed and said, “We won.” I hastened off down the hall and went into the parking lot outside the building, where the change in temperature woke me up.
