Bold Predictions for 2022: Everything is About to Change
Right Wire Report ^ | 1/1/2022 | Bekah Lyons

Here is the wildcard: By the end of 2022 many voters will be awake to the truths about the vaccines, and if Trump remains steadfast on his stance that he champions them and refuses to pivot, a lane opens up for the candidate who can run counter that glaring flaw. This candidate had to maintain anti-vax or at least suspect throughout Covid, and well Desantis never mandated, but he did highly recommend vaccinations. This candidate has to be a bonafide populist who has the conservative policy agenda credibility, energy, and charisma that Trump commands. And yes, this candidate must be somewhat polarizing with an edge who can be a catalyst to transformative change for what will be by them an even more wounded country. Most importantly, it must be someone who is vetted to the hilt already, so all baggage is baked into the cake. That wildcard is Sarah Palin. A Palin/Hawley ticket or an all-female ticket like Palin/Noem would shake the political system to its core.

Wildly tainted by wishful thinking.

“The only problem with picking a VP from the same state as the POTUS candidate is that you want the POTUS and VP to each carry a state. If they are from the same state, their candidacy only carries their state. I don’t know where the misconception came from, but it is not true.”

————————————U.S. Constitution:

12th Amendment
The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves;

Correct.

And...if DeSantis WISELY declines the VP spot so he can run in his own right in 2028, a good choice for VP for Trump would be Rand Paul. However, Trump is insecure about the vaccines and does not know how destructive they have been.

Trump. The man who failed to stop Fauci who killed 500,000+ Americans by fighting to block all attempts to treat Covid with Hydroxichloroquine and Ivermectin. Thus Trump allowed Fauci to kill them. So, Trump is like a cuck sort of.

But...he’ll still be way better than anything the Dems run with in ‘24.

My point stands, the POTUS and VP can be from the same state.

My prediction is that Republicans can’t win unless we can get rid of the voting fraud and untrackable mail-in ballots that we had in 2020.

Legally, yes. From a practical standpoint, no. Putting Florida’s 30 electoral votes at risk for either President or VP is idiotic.

McCain chose Palin to destroy her, not to win. That’s quite plain if you were paying close attention to a primary source of her mistreatment.

That affects a single state. The POTUS and VP can still be from the same state. The only time it would make a difference is in a very close election, and then only for the VP. As stated before, my original point stands.

That’s what I believe, a LOT of Hillary voters were so upset with Obama from what happened during the primaries, they felt that McCain was an acceptable choice, that changed when Palin was chosen. I think it was deliberate sabotage by a campaign that really didn’t want to win.

The poster stated it as fact, it's simply not true.

When Dick Cheney ran with GW Bush he felt it necessary to switch his residence to Wyoming from Texas.

A federal court case went to federal appeals court, who ruled that Cheney had moved to Wyoming. Neither court ruled the question moot. So there is precedent that prez and VP should not be from the same state.

Were that not the case (and it may not be), the court rulings showed the judges involved to be shamefully ignorant.

… If Trump moved, it wouldn’t be the first time a change of address preceded a presidential election. In 2000, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney both called Texas home — until Cheney picked up and went to Wyoming just as Bush tapped him to be his running mate.

A legal challenge to Cheney’s claim to the Electoral College votes from Texas failed in the courts, with the U.S. Supreme Court ultimately declining to intervene. Cheney served two terms as Bush’s vice president...

Palin would be a drag on any ticket… however deserved or undeserved, there’s wayyyy too much baggage there.

Read the details of your post again.

If a presidential candidate and running mate are from the same state, it’s only the electoral votes from that one state that are subject to dispute — and then only the EVs for either President or VP (not both).

I agree that Israel will move suddenly on Iran soon.
He left out a few Black Swan events that most people believe to be “preposterous”.

2022 might be 1914/1939, but magnified by 100 IMHO.
