Vice President Kamala Harris is reportedly expressing discontent with the news coverage surrounding her performance as the nation's second-highest office holder, citing her race and gender.
According to a piece by The New York Times, Harris has been privately complaining to her allies that the media's coverage of her would be better if she were any of her 48 White male predecessors,
[snip]
The Times' piece, which focused on Harris' struggle to "define herself" within the Biden White House, noted that she held no "headlining role" when it came to some of the administration's most difficult decisions
[snip]
The Times noted Harris' historically low approval rating
[snip]
she was reaching out to prominent figures like Hillary Clinton to help determine her future direction.
[snip]
"She also has confided in them [staff] about the difficulties she is facing with the intractable issues in her portfolio, such as voting rights and the root causes of migration."
[snip]
The Times also expanded on the counsel [Hillary] Clinton gave Harris about being in her position as a woman in politics.
[snip]
The Times added that the two speak over the phone every few months and Clinton has visited Harris in her office.
[snip]
Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif., also defended Harris to The Times, claiming there was a double standard that went further than Harris' gender.
"I know, and we all knew, that she would have a difficult time because anytime you’re a ‘first,’ you do,’" Bass said. "And to be the first woman vice president, to be the first Black, Asian woman, that’s a triple. So we knew it was going to be rough, but it has been relentless, and I think extremely unfair."
Bass added that she thought Harris was already the front-runner to be the next Democratic presidential nominee, despite it not being immediately clear if Biden planned to run for reelection in 2024.

He was spotted at the Munger Potatoe festival earlier this year.
“If she only were a white man;
If she only had a brain;
If she only had a heart;
If she only had the nerve;
We’re off to see the Wizard.
If “ifs” and “buts”
Were candy and nuts,
Everyday would be Christmas.”
I like how you put that. I was thinking of a way to say the same thing.
Kamala is right. Because if she was a white man, she would actually have to accomplish something to get where she is. All she has had to do is be half-black and female, and to heck with actually doing any real work. Unless you consider blowing Willie Brown to be work.
Apparently, Doug likes to watch.
Oh my gosh.........one of “those”????.......figgers
President Kamala will name Hillary as VP. Then Hillary will push her aside and ascend to the presidency.
By hook or by crook, Hillary will become president. She wants it--bad. Who cares what the people want?
Does she mean like the way media covered President Trump?
Don’t forget the world class, “I can’t believe you just asked me such a stupid question idiot” cackle.
Here is Vice President Kamala Harris sharing her favorite mix tape songs. My god she’s brilliant and apparently down wiff the struggle. No’m I sayin’

A vice president is supposed to do nothing. In the past, all the men who were vice president weren’t offended by that. They know thet it’s part of the job description. Kamala Harris is making it difficult for the next President to select a female for the VP job.
Thx!
If she were a white man, nobody would know who she was......and we would all be better off.
Coverage would indicate doing something besides panning her re-decoration of her office.
Mike Pence got great coverage from the media in case you missed it. /s
bullsugar, Kameltoe.
a white man that blew his way to the top ( and bragged about it), and did the same crappy job that you have would be toast.
I agree. No VP has ever been called an idiot by the press before.
Sincerely,
Dan Quayle
You just keep on telling yourself that.
Really Kamala? The press treated Dan Quayle better than you?
Montel Williams probably wouldn’t have been by her side either.
“She also has confided in them [staff] about the difficulties she is facing with the intractable issues in her portfolio, such as voting rights and the root causes of migration.”
Let’s see, everyone has the right to vote. The only issue are fraudulent votes which is a feature to Democrats. So, nothing to worry about there except maybe advancing the fraud. Bit of a pickle.
As for migration. Ask yourself why are there gated communities with armed guards and high tech security systems like the one you live in? Then ask yourself why we don’t have a border wall and too few armed guards and little to none high tech security?
A problem almost as tough as learning how to play checkers.
