Agreed—I could have become very wealthy with heavy investments in the stock market.

But—I am very comfortable with my modest retirement.

pick and choose much?

From your source...

“Cases were similarly highest among the unvaccinated, peaking at about 736 per 100,000 for the week starting August 15. Again, there were numeric differences between vaccine groups, with Johnson & Johnson being the highest (172), followed by Pfizer (135), and Moderna (86).”

736 per 100k unvaccinated
393 per 100k vaccinated.

close but not near 85-90%. and 393 vaccinated deaths is a big deal

True, there is a lot of nonsense being bandied about. Most especially interpretation. But that applies much to the pro-vax also.

Personally I don’t want vaccines whose (now) long-term effects are unknown. They cannot possibly be known. And I definitely don’t want it for a disease of 1.5% CFR (if you believe the numbers…both ways). Ain’t worth it.

Trump’s weaknesses are his strengths.

He NEVER does homework.

He NEVER takes advice from “advisors” or “handlers”.

Covid’s survival rate is over 98 per cent for the entire population both vaxxed and unvaxxed.

He WRONGLY credits the jab for the vaxxed who have survived Covid when surviving Covid has more to do with its mortality rate than the jab.

I believe in the science too.

I believe in a large scale study weighted for major factors and run long term by credible scientists with no political or financial interest in the outcome. And a control group.

But we don’t have that do we? And we never will. We don’t have science. We have opinion, propaganda, speculation, profiteering, political correctness, power grabs, and lies.

-That being said, refusing to make a decision just because data is incomplete strikes me as illogical.

It’s actually VERY logical when you present the scenario more accurately.

Refusing to make a decision about something with potentially serious and permanent adverse consequences makes all the sense in the world. In fact, that’s what is SUPPOSED to be done. It’s why new drugs are kept OFF the market until clinical testing is done — not vice versa.

Trump is lying. Seems in most countries, vaccinated are the ones getting sick now. US is blocking the truth and lying about the unsafe vaccines.

From the beginning to NOW, everything about the ‘virus’ has been, and IS, a tremendous con. It's so badly represented and so badly managed that the stigma associated with the bug and the jab are insurmountable impediments to ever taking their jab!

For Trump not to be “fully vaccinated” would be stupid.

I recommend everybody over 50 get “fully vaccinated” if possible. Almost everyone under a doctor’s care for a chronic physical condition should be vaccinated IMO.

I suspect women in late stage pregnancy should also get a jab to protect their newborn if their doctor recommends it.

Giving FDA authorized Pfizer jabs to young people is acceptable medical practice IMO, but I think it deprives the Third World of necessary Covid vaccine supplies.

“dude........you are totally making an ass of yourself.”

How is this an innacrurate statement?

The CDC moving tne goalpost means they are getting a hold of the pandemic. They are learning as time goes on. What works, what doesn’t work. That is how science works. It’s not as if we had this pandemic before.

My wife is a veternarian. Things she was told about say West Nile Virus had totally changed once they started treating horses a certain way.

Moving the goalpost is a good thing. It means you are learning from past mistakes.

“credible scientists with no political or financial interest in the outcome.”

Those are true Unicorns—have yet to see one.

Do they actually exist?

That has always been the Achilles heel of science.

It is done by human beings with assumptions, prejudices, agendas, goals.

If you “follow the science” that is what you are following.

Health care providers and their FDA-eligible household members should also generally be vaccinated IMO.

A lot of Vaccine Derangement Syndrome on here.

This place gets sadder by the year, its not just Vaccine Derangement Syndrome, its a lot of derangement in general. Hate to admit I don't come here as often any more.

The pandemic will end in a few months and Trump wants the credit instead of the Geezer in thief that he may end up running against.

I guess he sees those that drop dead from the shots as acceptable collateral damage...at least he is not for mandates and this will be water under the bridge by then...maybe.

Let’s see if he gets the nomination after taking all this NOT so wonderful ‘credit’. Until then, MAGA for 2022.
