Retired generals urge Pentagon to take steps to avert 'civil war' after 2024 election
Washington Examiner ^ | Dec 17, 2021 | Daniel Chaitin, Deputy News Editor

The U.S. military must start making preparations for another "insurrection" after the 2024 election, according to a trio of retired military generals.

An op-ed published by the Washington Post on Friday called for action amid growing concern among former senior officials about the "potential for lethal chaos inside our military" in a flash of violence that could eclipse the Capitol riot on Jan. 6.

“The cities will be done for in two or three weeks.”

What will AOC and her constituents do for food, heat, light, and water?? Indeed, with her “green” economy, what would they do for the same things?

That sounds like projection to me.   They should not even have any say in the matter.

"Retired generals urge Pentagon to take steps"

aka Paul Eaton, a "progressive military advisor" to Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.

... Rittenhouse like responses.

What you refer to is the individual's right to resist unjutified deadly force, a right none of us should want to lose.

DownInFlames:
...the right to insert oneself into riots and shoot to kill without fear of a murder conviction.

There is no such right and your language diametrically misstates what the acquittal was about. Absent the sarcasm tag a reader should presume you are serious, albeit quite misguided.

Adios, my friend.

They're admitting they are going to cheat again.

That’s a good read, and the numbers are even higher now.
Stupid progressive leftists and communists have NO IDEA the wrath that will fall upon them and their families when the gloves finally come off....no idea.

Regarding federal government involvement in domestic violence in the USA, patriots are reminded of the following.

The delegates to the Constitutional Convention had protected the sovereign states from unwanted federal government involvement in state affairs, particularly domestic violence, by prohibiting the untrusted feds from getting involved in such violence violence unless a state formally requests assistance from feds.

"Article IV, Section 4 (4.4): The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence [emphasis added]."

Justice Joseph Story had put it this way about second part of 4.4.

”§ 1819. It may not be amiss further to observe, (in the language of another commentator,) that every pretext for intermeddling with the domestic concerns of any state, under colour of protecting it against domestic violence, is taken away by that part of the provision, which renders an application from the legislature, or executive authority of the state endangered necessary to be made to the general government, before its interference can be at all proper [emphasis added]. On the other hand, this article becomes an immense acquisition of strength, and additional force to the aid of any state government, in case of an internal rebellion, or insurrection against its authority. The southern states, being more peculiarly open to danger from this quarter, ought (he adds) to be particularly tenacious of a constitution, from which they may derive such assistance in the most critical periods.” —Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution, Article 4, Section 4.

H O W E V E R...

Since the corrupt feds have already blatantly ignored (imo) the first part of 4.4, their enumerated responsibility to guarantee each state a republican form of government, evidenced by Congress wrongly (imo) voting to ignore alleged state vote-counting fraud on J6, then maybe the Pentagon's anti-Trump saber rattling (my words) should be taken more seriously.

"Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

Insights welcome.

The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big, alleged election-stealing, Democratic Party-pirated federal and state governments manufacturing crises to oppress everybody under their boots...

Consider that all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.

Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.

Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states, the amendment limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.

In fact, I challenge the states to ram the repeal amendment for 16&17A through the ratification process faster than Nancy Pelosi irresponsibly rammed unconstitutional Obamacare through the House. /semi-sarc

Again, insights welcome.

Biden’s predictions he reads are generally right. That’s scary as hell.

That’s because they are not really predictions.

They pretend they are so they can claim to be right, that they saw it coming, but the reality is, they are actually alerting us to their plans for us, disguised as predictions.

Do what you gotta do. We outnumber the living hell out of you. You couldn’t pacify Iraq or Afghanistan in 20 years. Both are roughly the size of Texas. Now you wanna conquer America while standing right in top of your own logistical tall, from your basically unprotected bases, with half the soldiers on our side.

Make no mistake. They couldn't win in either place because they weren't allowed to be brutal.

They will absolutely be brutal with us. They will operate like Nazis. They will simply round up and murder people in a manner they never did in Afghanistan or Iraq.

*WE* are a real threat to the corrupt Deep State in DC.

A weak military would be easy to beat. They’re setting themselves up for failure, at least.

That is a conundrum. In all honesty.

In the CapitAL riot they were “nasty”, rowdy, and burned a couple cars, wore obscene items, displayed obscenities on signs. And hung around a bit too long.

Meanwhile the worst of the CapitOL riot was broken windows, especially from the outside. It was an incursion on the “sacred” (suddenly) Fed building that represents “the People”, but it was quite lame. People carried US flags rather than burn them, walked around rather than running, slept under giant but accessible paintings and took pix with statuary rather than vandalizing them. The only person who actually died from it was one of the “rioters”. And it also lasted all of 4 hours? Just people being shooed away?

I get the “how dare you incur on a hallowed space”....but they didn’t do much and were gone within hours.

As far as BLM riots and Antifa - yeah, it’s a joke.

the only future for the United States at this point is an organic devolution of power out of Fed.gov out to the states

************************************************************

Absolutely correct and it’s called ENFORCING the 10th Amendment which is the job of the largely corrupt State Legislatures.

To strictly enforce the 10th Amendment the lazy ass State Legislatures would have to do some work. That work is called reading boring “proposed” legislation by the thousands of pages. Easier to just let “the feds” do it with their huge staffs while the state legislators head to the local watering hole or the 1st Tee Box!

Can’t get there with out watering the TREE. Elections damn sure won’t cure the problem.

the military now has “Gender advisors”. What the hell?

This is nothing new.

In the old Soviet Union they used to be known as "political commissars" or "political officers" (politruk: политический руководитель). They were responsible for the political purity of the unit. They were the most powerful officer in the unit.

Even the Generals feared them - just as they do now.

A United States civil war would be a disaster for the world.

We are the Leviathan. If the US were to ever commit suicide, Europe, China and Russia would quickly be destroyed as well.

The 3rd world would slide into regional armed entities and we would enter a second dark age.

As for the mideast, Israel will see the writing on the wall and Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Turkey and others would learn that owning one nuke makes you a target, multiple nukes insure survival.

Pakistan and India would destroy each other with the aid of China.... and on and on and on..... one after another, the pillars of the world would crumble.

I must admit that the schadenfreude of seeing the communists/socialists/leftist in America put up against the wall or ambushed to extinction would be a welcome comedic relief as the world burns, but only for a short time.

There has not been an insurrection yet unless you count the theft of the 2020 election by the demonrats.
