Penn administration 'strongly advise' its swimmers to avoid talking to the media about the situation surrounding Thomas..
...
Even after a Wednesday team meeting where a source says Penn administration "strongly advised" its swimmers to avoid talking to the media about the situation surrounding transgender Penn swimmer Lia Thomas, a second female Penn swimmer has stepped forward to speak out
...
The second female Penn swimmer to speak out, who was granted anonymity due to what is viewed as threats from the university, activists, and the political climate, wants people to know that Penn swimmers are "angry" over the lack of fairness in the sport as Lia Thomas destroys the record books and brings fellow teammates to tears.
...
The second Penn swimmer to come forward was at the University of Akron Zippy Invitational where she watched Lia Thomas beat fellow teammate Anna Kalandadze by 38 seconds in the 1650 freestyle. OutKick’s source described Penn swimmers on the Akron pool deck as upset and crying, knowing they were going to be demolished by Thomas.
They feel so discouraged because no matter how much work they put in it, they’re going to lose. Usually, they can get behind the blocks and know they out-trained all their competitors and they’re going to win and give it all they’ve got
...
Now they’re having to go behind the blocks knowing no matter what, they do not have the chance to win. I think that it’s really getting to everyone
...
after the 200 freestyle, Thomas could be overheard bragging.
"That was so easy, I was cruising..

the biological women are pretty much being told to shut their mouths and move along by the school and the NCAA.
...
biological women will never be on an equal playing field with transgender females.

Is there a betting pool yet on when the he/she freak takes his own life after the swimming thing is over?
Mental illness left untreated will have consequences.
We are officially in kray kray world.
The “Jesus Shirt Guy” stomping somebody really helps make it look bizarre.
That is when I left to start my own business
Electric starters..
I maintain that all this equality business began with the invention of the Electric starter for automobiles.
Prove me wrong.
I can’t.
This guy is just another attention seeking, narcissistic, homosexual ahole.
but there is no future in women’s sports going forward, and that is a shame because it teaches values and keeps kids out of trouble.
Of course there’s a future in women’s sports. There’s just no future in women’s sports that are organized and managed by people and institutions that don’t care about women’s sports. Women can organize the sports themselves and compete as they see fit.
I don’t see the downside of this, frankly.
I do think the NCAA needs to be cleaned up...They have put their nose into areas that they should not.
I don’t think women should acquiesce to these institutions.
Seems like we are going back to what I participated in years ago when I was in grade school/middle school/high school...Women’s intramural sports.
Sorry IMHO as parent of daughters and granddaughters, I don’t think self-organized sports is the same as high school and college sports. I just don’t think girls should be robbed of opportunities which is clearly happening. It is not their fault...
Why do I feel this way? Well my daughter swam with Olympic qualifiers and swam in college. I just don’t see that happening with my granddaughters. We drove to swim meets in various states, and daughter flew to meets/camps as well.
There was financial gain for her collegiate swimming (tho it did not come close to all that we spent for her swimming career...and it was a career).
I just think it is sad that transgender men are now dominating women sports, beauty pageants?!, etc...It is wrong, and women should not “self organize” intramurals...they should be mad as h*ll and speak out.
What's even more unfortunate is that the have more authority than just about anyone else in the hierarchy of a modern day company.
“the”= they
“reimburses”
If there is no reimbursement, then there is no theft. The fan got the action the sport advertised and provided, the people in charge got their TV contract money, and the opportunity to either ignore the way it was done or accept it is with the fan. If you don’t do the only action you have, stop watching it, and don’t support the school or the advertisers they use, and force them to do it differently by either costing them money or voting in people that have a say in the political side of the NCAA, then it will continue and maybe get worse. I haven’t watched a pro football game in over five years. And Obama and the liberal supported Colin. So how do the liberals in office stay there? They are supported and given money.
But, were you up in arms about the women’s college soccer player, Sarah Fuller, from the publicity stunt done by Vanderbilt when they had their woman soccer player come in and kick two extra points when they didn’t have anyone else to do it? And it’s money there, also as the game made national TV with a team, Vanderbilt, in last place in their league late in the season.
It’s all about money. FYI, I know of a kid who stole a bank card and emptied her parents account, got caught through the computer transfer, and wasn’t charged with anything when they transferred the money back. I don’t know why, but that happened two years go and the kid is still out and is an adult now. So, it happens.
And be aware that if the theft is discovered less than two weeks after the money is removed, which it was, the bank is on the loop as if it is over $1500, which it was, it is considered identity theft and is a class B felony which warrants ten years in jail and it is the bank responsibility to charge. If it is under $1500, then it is a class C felony and warrants five years in the can. Washington State.

Lol. You can’t be serious.
Agreed , except “many prefer it more honest open”.

This “thing” is dis-honest
Ruth Bader Ginzburg is on record saying that Roe v Wade was a bad decision because instead of being decided on the imaginary “privacy” provisions of the 4th Amendment, it should have been based on the notion that women would only be “equal” to men if they were not burden with the risk of unwanted pregnancy. Would love to know how she’d feel about the “equality” afforded these women.

“Lia” sounds like a real asshole.
