Woke wannabe critics are attempting to cancel some of the most beloved holiday films in history, calling out problematic plot lines and characters in movies such as “Love Actually” (2003) and “The Holiday” (2006).
Movies made as far back as the 1940s are also being targeted by the Twitterverse for racism and misogyny.

1. The Holiday
It’s the lecherous male characters that leave some armchair critics calling for its cancellation.
2. It's a Wonderful Life
Frank Capra’s Christmas classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” is also being targeted by viewers who accuse Jimmy Stewart’s character of exhibiting “misogynistic” behavior.
3. The Santa Claus:
Branded as "fatphobic."
4. Jingle All the Way
The relentless focus on capitalism has turned some woke viewers off, with one saying: “Rum-soaked viewing of Jingle All The Way now and gang, this is a deeply problematic s–t fest about late capitalism.”
5. Love Actually
Some jokes and storylines have made politically correct critics furious.
I’ve only seen two of those (and one is an annual viewing - “It’s A Wonderful Life” is a must!) but I will make it a point to see the other three.
When the United States faces its next military crisis I wonder if anyone will be complaining about ‘toxic masculinity’ when we need brave soldiers to defend the nation?
This stuff will continue and get worse until people not only dismiss it, but ridicule the evil behind it.
We may think it’s stupid, but they are serious in their efforts to destroy all tradition.
I’m shocked Rudolph is not on the list. Why Herbie is gay and they shun him. Rudolph is shunned by the other reindeer because he’s different. The Island of Misfit toys are all outcasts and shunned by the WORLD.....
Won’t be any war. These pussies will give up.
They would probably find objectionable things in those 1960s stop motion characters Christmas movies with Burl Ives as the narrator.
That is BS. If anything, the guys in The Holiday are as emotionally fragile as the women, Jack Black even more so. And Cameron Diaz is the one who initiates "guilt-free sex" with Jude Law.
Stop giving power to stupid people
So true.
Remember the brouhaha over the song "Baby, It's Cold Outside"?
Some stations will won't play that song - it has been removed by the station I have listened to for years over the holidays.
Found a station on iHeartRadio that plays it so I switched to that - Dean Martin's version.
We laugh at these things but the left are dead serious about removing any vestige of our traditions, history, holidays and ultimately our civilization.
Who thought a generation ago statues would be pulled down of Robert E. Lee, let alone Jefferson?
I’ve only seen two of those (and one is an annual viewing - “It’s A Wonderful Life” is a must!) but I will make it a point to see the other three.

I co raised 6 children and have seen The Wizard of Oz so many times, I’ve memorized the lines. Not a Christmas movie~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just sayin’
Good Lord....if someone has a problem with a movie....DON'T WATCH IT! ! ! !
I suspect the real reason the boxos don’t like “Its A Wonderful Life” is the message of redemption. They’ll be going after “A Christmas Carol” eventually.
Well, at least they didn’t cancel ‘Die Hard’...
I highly recommend The Holiday. I was pleasantly surprised when it came out. Jack Black, of whom I wasn’t a fan, really impressed me in this film.
I don’t remember any “lecherous” behavior.
Don’t forget A Christmas Carol with Alister Sim; shows young underage kids drinking around the dinner table. The horror.
Surprised Die Hard isn’t on the list, toxic masculinity, violence and all...
(and yes, it IS a Christmas movie).
The phrase lighten up means nothing to these humorless schmucks.
Are these movies really being cancelled? Or is it just that the writer went looking for internet complainers and strung them together into an article to attract attention and fill space.
We're going to have It's a Wonderful Life -- and people who complain about it -- for years to come.
How could they have left off Home Alone 2? The one with Donald Trump!
