Probably never will be robbed. For some reason evil never pays. They will probably just go on with life with no interruptions. Not fair at all.

I’m sure “justice involved persons” are happy to find out that establishment is a gun free zone.

According to chef and co-owner Rachel Sillcocks, restaurant staff grew uncomfortable by their presence and asked the officers to leave…

Some indoctrinated, very bigoted millennial/Gen Z folks doing what they do.

Pretty stupid don’t you think? One day I stopped to have lunch at a restaurant in a mildly iffy part of town. There were three cop cars there and six cops eating lunch. No worries.

There are Boomers like this too. It’s not generation-specific. Remember those cafes up in the NE that were owned by people in their 60s and 70s that were refusing service to cops and Republicans?

Because as a motorcycle rider, if I carry concealed and I’m in an accident, the fact that the pistol is inside the armor means that it may injure or kill me by being rammed into my body. Am I supposed to choose to either give up my right to self defense just to sooth your widdle fee-fees or run the elevated risk of injury or death in the event of an accident.

It’s not generation-specific.

The whining about “not feeling safe” is very prevalent among the younger generations. They were taught to do that in school and by their TVs, just like they were taught to be offended by everything.

I have seen a *bunch* of Boomer women making the same statement. Some of them are or were in Congress. Remember the Brady Campaign? Boomer women screaming about how they didn’t feel safe. Same thing with the Million Mom March.

Again - not generationally unique.

Or will she, in a kindly, patient voice, ask the armed robbers to leave because “we do not allow weapons on our restaurant”?

“Sillcocks said the decision to turn the officers away had nothing to do with who they were, but over the fact that the officers were armed.’

Again. These little “uncomfortable” S.F. restaurant workers are obviously of the very bigoted “safe space” generation.

I said what I said and my comment stands.

I don’t care who’s “offended.”

You should probably look at Miz Sillcocks on video. She’s likely on the wrong side of 50.

What was that about her being a “safe space” millennial again?

Fly over to the UK and watch the local unarmed Bobbies get served in the Fish & Chips shops.

Dude. Let it go. You’re not going to brow-beat me into capitulating to you over some silly, insecure desire you have to denigrate people.

Read the article. This is what I am commenting on and one more time: My comment stands. You’re trying to take this all over the place and you’re starting to look desperate. This article is about one incident at a restaurant in San Francisco where some millennial/Gen Z employees were “uncomfortable” about armed police officers being seated at their establishment. It really isn’t difficult to comprehend.

I don’t understand the handful of FReepers who just like to stir the pot for no apparent reason. But I’m grateful I don’t understand you. I’d hate to be dealing with whatever drives that annoying trait.

I will not continue this fruitless conversation. Have a nice day.
