I never understood the antagonism toward Pence over the 2020 election fiasco. As the VP presiding over a joint session of Congress he has almost ZERO authority to do anything about election proceedings.

The real culprits here -- in addition to the governors and state officials who facilitated a farce of an election -- are the Republican state legislatures that let it happen.
