Biden's going to get what he wants. Most unpopular President in 20 or more years but he gets every damned thing on his raidical unprecendentedly expensive agenda passed right on through after some fake hand wringing. The GOP has made sure to help it get through committees, get to votes, and find just enough votes to make sure it passes when needed. Both parties ... sorry, there is only one ... the uniparty is acting like the approval of the people simply doesn't matter anymore. They are making sure it doesn't.

Yo, West Virginia stop voting for Manchin every six years and elect a Republican. Or just let Manchin and the democrats destroy the coal industry along with West Virginia’s economy.

He's not going to budge. Here's the thing: Inflation.

This misnamed BBB bill would be the 3rd multi-trillion dollar bill passed this year. Manchin has already said he's not going to vote for it because it contains budget gimmicks and backloads all the spending towards the end.

It's pretty sad though, that we have to rely on Manchin and Sinema to save the day.

And don't give me this crap about how easy it will be for the GOP to win in 2022. The goal of the fake infrastructure bill and the BBB bill is to lay the Democrat's foundation and build upon it. No future Republican Congress will have the guts to repeal it just like they didn't repeal Obamacare.

Yes. Pork-zilla will pass. With the aid and comfort of the gop faction of the uniparty. That was always in the cards. Very few politicians will pass up such an opportunity. Of course, the debate will be contentious, the vote dramatic, and the margin of victory slim. Kabuki theater at its finest.

Manchin is a Manchin supporter, ahead of all.

But I think he might go our way on this.

Can you trust Manchin?

I suspect he’s holding out for something.

That’s true but I really believe that Manchin will have a Waterloo moment here. This BBB will effectively be the end of our way of life as we know it and it will make the dollar on par with toilet paper. I don’t think Manchin wants that.

Last time I went through there will indeed be the last. With all the construction projects, looks like manchin got his buddies paid with our dollars. The roads as bad as ever, tolls twice as high, mile after mile of pave America better.

And, US is blessed with world biggest coal reserves.

including low sulpher content coal

When President Clinton designated 1.7 million acres of Utah wilderness as a national monument, he dashed plans to tap a huge reserve of environment-friendly (low sulpher) coal.

Clinton’s decision might benefit Indonesia and its Lippo Group, a conglomerate at the center of a controversy over campaign contributions to the Democratic Party.

Lippo’s founder, billionaire Mochtar Riady, his family members and associates have contributed heavily to Clinton and the Democrats.

Lippo has business interests related to coal:
