If anyone here is planning to attend any of the smash-and-grab festivities in LA or the Bay area-can you score a set of 75x 10.50x 15 all-terrain tires for my 4x4-I was going to shop for new tires right after Christmas, but, hey-money and work are scarce right now-so if I can get them at out-the-door discount...
Tire prices have gone crazy.
Stuff that was 80 bucks is 120 now.
Tires are tough it’s hard to carry four one time so you need a crew!
Sonoma County, Santa Rosa. WOW.
It’s been done before
“can you just get your gun and tell him you’re going to shoot him if he’s on your property?”
I bought concealed carry insurance. One of the things they warn you about is never make any threats. Never show your gun. Never post a sign warning anything like, “trespassers will be shot.”
Just about anything you might think is okay will get you into prison if you shoot someone.
“What was that, like 3 laptops?”
Perhaps. Or ten iPhones. Either way, the hipsters working at the Apple store are not qualified to defeat thieves. And yes, the Apple stores make big bucks for the Apple company.
Have they ever-I was hoping to wait till Spring-but tires are screaming to be replaced...
A pickup or SUV and a couple cases of beer may be required...
;-)
Since every single Apple item will be disabled by Apple, these thieves will be in other jeopardy.
Is there any reason why the stores can’t have doors that can be automatically locked remotely from somewhere inside the store? Maybe even have bars down. Maybe it’s time to say no masks allowed in the store.
So that means they stole 2 laptops and an iPhone?
