The new normal? Bay Area is hit by THIRD consecutive day of looting as 50-strong hammer gang storms jewelry store after Macy's and Lululemon stores were hit: Thieves take advantage of woke 'misdemeanor' law

The San Francisco Bay Area faced a third consecutive day of brazen shoplifting on Sunday

A group of about 40 to 50 teenage looters wielding hammers smashed glass cases at a Hayward jewelry store and ran off with an unknown amount of goods at around 5.30pm Sunday The suspects also reportedly ran into other stores in the Southland Mall and walked away with clothes and shoes, though police do not know how many items were stolen Just about an hour later, in San Jose, a group of suspects entered a Lululemon store in the outdoor mall at Santana Row and took an unknown amount of merchandise before they fled the scene

The thefts come one day after a group of 80 brazen shoplifters entered a Nordstrom in nearby Walnut Creek Three people were arrested in that incident, in which three employees were injured

And on Friday, a Luis Vuitton store in San Francisco's Union Square was targeted and ransacked by a group of more than a dozen thieves

Residents in the business owners in the area cite a 2014 law that downgraded the theft of property less than $950 in value from a felony charge to a misdemeanor for the rise in thefts They also blame woke San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin for a rise in crime - he now faces a recall election amid fury over his soft-on-crime stance

Its absolutely a “new normal.” These are organized, not random events. That means there are leaders/organizers doing at least a basic cost-benefit analysis in their heads.

The original criminal gangs, and others, will be absolutely emboldened by success, like wolves on a deer carcass

I honestly hope it goes off-the-rails in SF. Why? Because it will serve a glaring lesson to everywhere else. Besides, they deserve it.

These dumb arse suburban moms will soon be wishing they voted for The Donald.

Just wait until they get bored with stealing and decide to have some fun with suburban moms.

They all have cell phones. Metadata can say they were there within 20 feet or so. Probable cause for an interview. All this crime could be prevented if they wanted to, but they want teenage criminals to turn into adult criminals. No victims, no need for Democrats.

Decriminalize crime, get rid of lots of police, hire communist DAs, elect soft-on-crime AGs and Governors...then crime goes up.

Unexpected! Couldn’t predict that. Nope, not at all.

Is there ANY way to get this under control? Will voters finally wake up?

I think you’ll find insurance won’t cover this.

The impact on local government finance will be huge. Most stores will move out, taking their tax and employment money with them. Brick and mortar stores were already dieing. This will finish that business model twenty years sooner. Those buildings will likely never be rented again.

Hi.

Why aren’t the store owners shooting?

The owners need to contact the Koreans in LA for some advice.

English is an amazing language

Amazing! I never knew this.

Did you know that the words “listen” and “silent” use the same letters?

Do you also know that the words " race car " spelled backwards still spells “race car?

And that "eat" is the only word that if you take the first letter and move it to the last, it spells its past tense “ate”.

And have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in "illegal immigrants", and add just a few more letters, it spells:

"Go home you free-loading, benefit-grabbing, resource-sucking, baby-making, Democrat lap-sitting, non-English-speaking assholes and take those other hairy-faced, sandal-wearing, bomb making, camel-riding, goat-shagging, raggedy-ass bastards with you!”

How weird is that?

Boy, I’ll bet all of those racists, colonialist, white supremist, climate change denying insurance companies are going to be citing a lot of no-pay provisions while raising rates! Maybe the City should consider defunding social justice for actual tax-paying businesses?
