A joyous scene of marching bands and children dancing in Santa hats and waving pompoms turned deadly in an instant, as an SUV sped through barricades and into a Christmas parade in suburban Milwaukee, killing at least five people and injuring more than 40 others.
Investigators are examining whether the SUV’s driver may have been fleeing from a crime when he crashed into the paradegoers, a law enforcement official briefed on the matter told The Associated Press.

Has the driver of the SUV been identified? Supposedly he is in custody, but have the police released his identity? If it was a white person, the name would be front and center ....
The bit of NBC news I heard this morning gave no name or picture, merely said it’s a person of interest, motive unknown.
It appears today they’ll pivot to the Arbery trial and make this story disappear if they can. Both CNN and MSDNC are showing it live right now - seems curious after a mass casualty event that took place just hours ago.

There was video where he sped through the parade and drove right by a little kid in the street.
It is possible that he was fleeing, why not take out the easy target if he wanted to kill people. There was also a group in the street.
It looked like he could have gotten stuck and just went.

I’m not making excuses for the lowlife, just trying to understand what made him do it. BECAUSE clearly the media and all deranged libs will make it about Kyle Rittenhouse.

Anybody check his social media posts for the last few days, to see if he had any strong opinions about the Rittenhouse trial?
