I have been thinking that it could be possible the high res is good enough to show that it was actually KR’s arm and not the rifle that was raised.

This would mean they tampered with it to prevent this from being exposed as the reality.

The light pixels that show kyles “hand on the gun” are actually there before Kyle gets into frame .. they appear to be a car side mirror or headlight

In case anyone is interested, you can read the jury instructions here:

if any witness changes their testimony in a second trial the prior testimony can be brought forth to impeach them.

I see. I wondered about that. I thought maybe they started over from whole cloth. For instance, people may remember things differently, or JKM may then be named and called to testify.

Why haven’t they noticed this and pointed it out???

Did they only watch it once???

I would rerun that for days in a row if I had to and check every fine detail of it over and over.

Agreed on the “complicated case” - over 100 pages of jury instructions has to be daunting to the jury, especially the foreman.

The written jury instructions were 36 pages.

... If the National Guard are deployed *first* it will make rioting much harder. Hopefully police departments will loan them lots of riot shields against projectiles. Lots of state police should be ready in the area as a reaction force...

That's for sure. This rioting garbage could be and should be controlled, period. It wasn't before, so here we are, but it's too late for that now.

Aren’t they having an evidentiary hearing today?

Has anyone noticed that when Binger was trying to show how Kyle held the gun, one thing was missing. Binger was not wearing a sling as Kyle was. So this was not an true re-enactment.

I’m not a gun user, but I think wearing a sling adds a few milliseconds time to raising the gun to that high shoulder position Binger used.

That charge still included the under 18 with a gun charge - or rather didn’t make it abundantly clear it was no longer at issue - so I hope it’s not the instructions they carried to the jury room.

The judge when he read the charge out loud to the jury did mention the gun charge was no longer at issue.

But it’s created a lie for the media to go with (kid shouldn’t have had a gun! he crossed state lines!) and might confuse a dumber juror.

For the record.....

The sin is not defending and killing

The sin is being present with a gun. Guns are not allowed anywhere for any purpose. That’s what the UK taught us

Binger with the gun. Another angle shows that Binger was posing for a photographer that was right there in the front row to take the (now infamous) photo. Was all about press for Binger. He got it.

Ya, thinking some jurors are desperate to pin SOMETHING on Rittenhouse, hence interest in the bad drone video.

I’m expecting the judge is planning a directed verdict, but giving the jury a chance to come to the right conclusion. They can’t conclude that _beyond_a_reasonable_doubt_ Rittenhouse is guilty of possessing the weapon (it’s legal), brandishing (drone video way too blurry/low-res), manslaughter (each attacked him _first_), etc; there just isn’t any certainty possible for any charge. Judges _can_ discount a jury’s verdict. Alas, this may be the worst possible outcome, as the mob will see “conviction overruled” as jury coming to the designated conclusion but the old white judge circumvents it; judge wouldn’t survive it.

If the jury actually stands up for what’s right, the threatening mob may very well disperse - once justice affirms good men with guns is lawful.

They should pause jury deliberations until they see if the ADA lied to the court but... the judge must think the mistrail won’t be an issue if Kyle if found not guilty.

At this point, he’s ‘on trial’ in the court of public opinion and already got a shot across the bow with the Asian food joke he made. The DA’s office is ‘on trial’ as they are apparently an overzealous politically motivated bunch of bad actors. Then the entire community of Kenosha is on trial as people are nationally calling for the place to be burned up again.

“Civil unrest” is normally EXCLUDED in insurance policies. So many of these burned up businesses and properties are a TOTAL LOSS for the poor owners.

Greetings, Guenevere! The hubs and I were required last April to return to the states by some Covid Cowards who are our overlords. But, we just got our work visas reissued and plan to return to the field shortly, sometime before Dec. 31. We haven’t quite worked out details yet.

I’ve missed you.

Yes. GUNS are on trial and anyone daring to defend their community after the police are given the ‘stand down’ orders.

Remember, the FBI (DOJ) had drones in the air that night and had high res footage of thousands of crimes. This is all around America during those chaotic months.

But who gets charged?

The do-gooder Kyle dumb enough or naive enough to believe in our system of justice.

The sin is being present with a gun. Guns are not allowed anywhere for any purpose.

Unless you have a criminal history and point a pistol at a child's head. Then, guns are all fine and dandy, and government will do nothing.
And if said child blows your bicep off, not to worry.
Government will go after HIM.
