Is a high-profile confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill on the horizon? On Tuesday night, Fox News’ Jesse Watters reported that Fox News congressional correspondent Chad Pergram “has been hearing whispers suggesting there could be some new, high-profile confirmation hearings on the horizon in the House of Representatives.”
“Why is this a big deal? Because the House does not confirm normal nominees, but it does confirm vice presidential nominees. Does this have something to do with Kamala Harris?” Watters pondered.
Recent reports have suggested there’s a lot of tension and dysfunction behind the scenes in the White House. Kamala Harris isn’t happy with the role she’s been asked to play and her allies are accusing Biden of racism for favoring Transportation Secretary Buttigieg over her .
“There’s a lot of conjecture right now about the future of VP Harris and her lagging poll numbers,” Pergram told Watters. “As you know, I appreciate Congressional process and mechanics. So I got a message recently from someone who knows Capitol Hill very well, and they suggested that I should familiarize myself with the process to confirm a vacancy for the Vice President in the Senate and in the House.”
The last vice president to be confirmed by Congress was Norman Rockefeller after Gerald Ford became president following Richard Nixon’s resignation. Ford himself was confirmed by Congress to be Nixon’s vice president when he filled the vacancy left by Vice President Spiro Agnew.

I’ve been saying for some time that I believe the puppetmasters are developing a scenario to get Kamala out of the picture, then set up a VP replacement who’s acceptable to the bipartisan swamp (I lean towards Kerry). Once he’s installed, Joe will step down or be removed, allowing Kerry to ascend to the Oval Office and select a VP for himself who’s more idealogue than idiot, but who checks off the right progressive boxes.

harris isn’t supposed to be playing a part as the author wrote- she’s supposed to be doing a job. it was obvious from primaries she is overfull of herself, wrong for serving the public in any capacity even customer service clerk she would not be well suited for.
I think if they do remove her, they will have barry obama placed as VP so he doesn’t have to work from behind the scenes any more. Barry was a very useful puppet to the powers pulling the strings and harris and biden strings have been tangled or frayed and not working so well.

Gretchen Whitmer has been having high level talks that exclude most staffers.
Whitmer fits the bill for what the Democrats are looking for.
A woman.
Someone that can bring in a big electoral State.
A pro-claimed progressive.
She “stood up to Trump”.
She’s on the same page with Biden in policy.
Let’s not forget the Gretchen was on Biden’s short list of V.P.s and he even interviewed her.
Whitmer has been extremely quiet lately and not doing anything that might be controversial. She has not spoken at all about Covid or mandates in months.
The reason why it’s known she’s been in high level meetings is because some Michigan House members and Senators have been trying to contact and meet but she has Not been available. Nor her Staff.
I believe its Gretchen Whitmer that’s going to replace Harris.
Harris isn’t going anywhere. She won’t take one for the team because,....F**k Biden. She’s going to patiently wait out Biden. She’s literally a heart beat away from the most powerful seat in the world. And, the only way she’s would be out is if she’s impeached and that ain’t going to happen.
If I’m the VP and some dimocrat idiots try to strong arm me.....screw them, I’m the VP, whatcha gonna do? Bring it? And when I become Pres. I’ma get you.

That seems the most likely scenario. Everyone with a brain knew that Joe’s expiration date was up soon, it’s just surprising it is this early into his presidency.

What better way to completely deconstruct the American Christian culture than to have an incompetent [”married”] sodomite as president. He freights in the same incompetence as Biden and just as equally controllable. It is the optics of the event. These Leftists are in a gigantic hurry to destroy the country before it can be reversed by an election. They have only a few months. They look to lock down the entire country with accusations of racism, white supremacy, homophobia, transphobia, and hate in general.
The DOJ is already being prepped to attack and destroy anyone promoting disagreement as being a domestic terrorist.
Note there is not a word of protest in the “vigilantism” in people threatening to attack the judge and the jury in the latest trial of someone trying to exercise self-defense.
Thing is, while her incompetence is astounding, she is probably the least corrupt person in the Biden admin. So probably not much to leverage for pressure to resign.
Oh I know...history’s my thing. In the Watergate era they had plenty of time to see it coming.
What we have now, apparently, is a batch of bad poll numbers for Biden and Harris. Plus his obvious physical decline. That doesn’t seem like enough to make the Congressional hive buzz about a potential veep. Even if they got the scuttlebutt that Biden might step down...who in Congress believes Biden? ;)
But if it did happen, Harris would think long and hard about her veep choice. Consult everyone, Dems in Congress especially. Such talk cannot have happened yet.

For Harris, staying out of cocktail lounges is hard work. A SCOTUS justice has to behave and look serious, lest they make the entire court look bad.

Exactly. Biden will resign due to “medical problems” and Kamala will appoint her VP, which will need confirmation hearings.
Recently, they have been putting Kamala in the spotlight. Another interesting thing are the leaks about the feud between her and the WH. The handlers think this will distance her from Biden and give the illusion of independence going into her Presidency.
Most interesting is that Jesse Waters reported last night that “Harris’s office is leaking that the Biden administration is racist”.
