Because only psychosis can explain the refusal to see that the same gang that used the DOJ, CIA, FBI, State Department, Defense Department and IRS in a black op against Donald Trump would turn the same massive power of the state against average citizens, when it suited them.

The National School Board Association didn’t just come up with the idea to label average parents concerned about Marxist, racist hate “domestic terrorists.” A memo uncovered by Parents Defending Freedom proves that the NSBA actively coordinated the White House on the letter. As Mark Levin’s America First Legal Foundation already uncovered, the Biden regime didn’t like average citizens speaking out in a growing movement that could cause problems for the 2022 election. So they plotted with the NSBA on their now infamous letter, and used that letter to — in less than a week — order the FBI to go after the parents.

Click bait title - nowhere does Putin say he approves of our police state. The Soviet Union was a police state, but Russia is not - an oligarchy, perhaps, but not a police state.
Putin is not a communist, but a very able leader of a great country - they have more religious freedom than the US, for one.
I think Putin sees the very same things happening here that happened in the Soviet Union.
Putin is no angel, I would never suggest that he is, but he also understands why the Soviet Union ultimately crashed, and he sees the US making the very same mistakes.

Boy! Are you trapped in the old USSR past. That’s just your opinion not the actual reality - Russians are not leaving Russia because of oppression, if anything they are moving to better economic opportunities outside of Russia.
Putin is, if anything, trying to restore Russia to a modern version of Russia before the revolution by restoring religion and rebuilding churches (which is the primary reason Russia is in Syria - the home of the Russian Orthodox Church). He’s already created much of the consumer economy we are familiar with in the west.

Putin is like DJT in that he gets things done for his people and his country. He sees the mistake that was the USSR.
You know who are leaving their country en masse? Ukrainians. They are invading Poland now to get jobs.
At least, Putin’s “repression” targets left-wing revolutionaries. He’s banned George Soros and locked up his stooge Alexei Navalny. He doesn’t all protests that shutdown streets and result in mass rioting and looting. The equivalent of Antifa and BLM don’t exist in Russia nor do militant homosexual activists.

I have no ideal whether Russia is a police state or not, however I am certain that, if I chose to live there, the government would *not* make me feel that I was branded as a "domestic terrorist".
You would feel nothing of the sort. I've lived in Russia and maintain the legal right to do so. I've never felt anything except freedom to do pretty much whatever I wanted.
I watch a lot of videos of people in Russia they look pretty free to me. Well as long as you don’t try to go naked into a Russian Orthodox Church, like Pussy Riot did.
