John Kerry, President Joe Biden’s climate envoy, said there would be no coal in the United States by the end of the decade at the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
“By 2030 in the United States, we won’t have coal,” Kerry said in an interview with Bloomberg.
Kerry is the first Biden official to publicly comment on the administration’s environmental policy since the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that contained numerous sections dedicated to climate change passed Congress. His aspiration to rid the country of its coal by 2030 aligns with Biden’s deadlines for lowering greenhouse gasses by the same year.

We had 1/2 ton of coal delivered about twice a year...
Actually Im a coal miner’s daughter...
My Dad owned the mine and worked in it...
Then came home and worked on the farm...
He was always home when I got back from school...sheep, chickens...grew all our vegetables...
Mom used coal to cook and for the living room fire and to heat our hot water...
I dont remember ever being hungry...
Coal gave us a good life...
and industrious parents helped a lot also...
It is not going down any time soon, forget 2030.

We heard that about oil in 1970. By 2000, all the oil would be gone.
Needs to be hammered for the 2022 and 2024 elections, especially in states such as Pennsylvania (I'll never believe the vote wasn't rigged there).

2030 seams to be a key date for the enviro-nuts , gas , oil and now coal will be gone and everyone will have a new chinese communist party electric car , there will be no way to charge it you’ll have one ,LOL
No mention by this azzhole of all the other uses of coal.
