America be lying.
Although language purists will argue that the previous sentence is grammatically incorrect, it shows why African American Vernacular English (AAVE), is sometimes more accurate than Caucasian American Vernacular English (CAVE).

maybe black people should feel bad about all the murdering, robbing, and raping that they do RIGHT NOW as compared to 150 years ago.
The author of this crap is a complete idiot. Correction: complete LYING idiot.
............................................
Moreover he/she is a blatant Race Baiter!
Roots has been totally debunked as far as the story line.
I feel great.
No guilt on my shoulders, and everyday people like this author prove to me that I am right.
I understand the desire of black people to make me feel bad in order to guilt-trip me into consenting to give blacks more money and privilege.
I no longer give a damn.
I be chillin wit my Whiteness. Howdya like me now?
We also marched for Civil Rights and had a Black Prom Queen - she was a friend of mine.
Unless you are our age, you lack perspective.
Shonuff shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii........
I graduated in ‘67. The student population was about 80% non-white. Needless to say, I had many close friends who weren’t white. Students of all races got along just fine. We would even make jokes that would be considered “racist” today. Teachers (mostly black) were highly professional, and taught their subjects seriously without social commentary. CRT wasn’t even “a thing” back then.
I want to see the textbook that said slaves were happy. I think he just made that up. And I don’t feel bad at all. I also don’t feel bad about the potato famine, the Crimean war, sand creek or anything else from over 100 years ago that I wasn’t a party to.
But I do feel bad that there are parts of America I can go to and I will be instantly attacked or victimized because of my white skin.
“Wait! You say you found “the truth” in a second-hand book you bought? And no doubt you are sure it was the truth because the author said it was the truth? Man, I hope you don’t suffer from that gullibility sickness much longer!”
Much better than the propaganda from the pubic skrool with respect to what actually went down during that time period. Be surprised what you can find in second-hand stores if’n you really dig. Gullible..... may be since I’m just a hillbilly from central Texas.
Bravo!

Yep, I have bought many books in second-hand bookstores over the years. About 10 years ago I was looking at a bulletin board in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and there was a news clip posted with directions to a used bookstore where the books were FREE. It was in the basement of a big corner row house. Must have been several thousand books there. When you checked out all they wanted was a count of the books you were taking. Gullible? No insult intended. I’m just a hillbilly myself on the top of Savage Mountain in Garrett County, MD!
I believe the Confederate state legislatures passed ordinances of secession, not articles.
In Virginia it was a convention to consider the issue. Mass meetings of citizens in every jurisdiction elected delegates
to the convention. At the convention, secession was defeated in initial votes. Then Lincoln called for 75,000 volunteers to fight their fellow Americans who wanted to create a new southern version of the US.
Thanks. It seemed apt.
Maybe White Communists should feel bad, for lying about
White people.
Rev. Jackson,Jr. net worth either $9 million or $10 million.
With all the time he and Rev. Al Sharpton have to spend preparing and delivering Sunday sermons to their congregations*, attending weddings and funerals, visiting the sick in hospitals and meeting with community leaders, it's a wonder they have time to make any money at all. I suspect they just give it away to the needy./S
* Neither has a church congregation.
