Oh my goodness!! So sorry to read this, may God comfort his family as Colonel Powell now rests in His ever-loving arms.
Politics aside, he served his country honorably in the armed forces for 35 years.

I understand almost 2 years of no masking, not changing any habits or lifestyle in any way, not getting it or any symptoms, 98+% chance of recovery and NO chance of blood clots. I also understand still NOT EVER getting cholera, typhoid, yellow fever or hepatitus when having to travel to shitholes after being vaccinated for those.
Haven’t had time to look into this too much but seeing mentions of him bring fully vaxxed. I wonder what/when, if any, therapeutics were employed. Didn’t he also have a condition of some sort?
Not a big fan of either man, but at least Powell had the integrity to resign/retire from his position as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs when he saw Clinton/Aspin politics undermining military operations in Somalia.
Maybe it has to do with the basic understanding of vaccines prior to this one. For example those that have helped to eradicate, for all intents and purposes, certain other diseases.
The only thing surprising about this is that they *are* including COVID as a cause of death of a fully vaccinated elderly person. Typically elderly folks only die of COVID pre-vaxx days.
Closest person to a high profile democrat that I’ve heard of dying from Covid.
