KEY POINTS A phase 3 trial of Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics’ oral antiviral treatment molnupiravir showed it reduced the risk of hospitalization or death by around 50% in Covid patients. Merck plans to seek emergency use authorization in the U.S. and submit marketing applications to other global drug regulators. If authorized by regulatory bodies, molnupiravir could be the first oral antiviral medicine for Covid. “The company, when they briefed us last night, had mentioned that they will be submitting their data to the FDA imminently,” White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci said at a Covid briefing Friday.

Are you taking Ivermectin as a preventive treatment for covid? And does it require a prescription? Have you been taking it all along?

I am taking it prophylactically. The I-MASK+ protocol including Vit C, D3, zinc and Quercetin. I skip the Melatonin because it gives me weird headaches.

I’ve been taking it once a month since Jan. but no Rx. I use the “horse paste.”

Considering how much orange juice I drink I probably don’t even need the 1,000 mg capsule of Vit C. :)

More like a common sense test.

My kids, with IQ’s around 150, have all drunk the Koolaid.

Two of them have already had the Pfizer booster...despite having had Covid 19 back in January, and two shots of Moderna.

They are so much smarter than their Old Ma. ;)

Less than 50% of those infected with Covid are at risk for hospitalization and death without this drug. So what exactly does it do?

Tucker Carlson just presented this drug on his show. I couldn’t remember the name, so I’m glad I found this article.

Friends just had it. They took vit d, c, zinc, quercetin and ivermectin. Back to normal in a week. Unvaccinated.

The ratio at work is embarrassing. Now up to 8 in office vaccinated got covid. 4 of us unvaccinated have3gotten it so far. Of course we could- but haven’t to date.

Strangest damned virus.

Benjamin Franklin, who received an honorary master’s degree from The College of William and Mary in 1756, and doctorates from the University of St. Andrews in 1759 and the University of Oxford in 1762 for his scientific accomplishments. He thereafter referred to himself as “Doctor Franklin”.

You make a good point. Being that the good Dr. Franklin, although not a medical doctor, was an extremely intelligent, highly educated and incredibly industrious man.

He probably knew more about medicine and health than most doctors of his day.

Merck had the patent for ivermectin. It is now expired. This is a NEW drug that they developed for treatment of the CCP-Coronavirus. Though ivermectin works amazingly well to treat the CCP-Coronavirus in third world countries, like India and Latin American countries, it is VERY dangerous to people in developed countries.

Somehow, the size of a country's 'M1', 'M2' and 'M3' drastically affects the ability of ivermectin to battle the CCP-Coronavirus, and its safe usage. There is an inverse correlation between these numbers and the drug's effectiveness.

Merck is researching a new drug that will be as effective in countries with larger 'M1', 'M2' and 'M3'. Likely only a slight, but patentable change in the chemical formula will cause the new medicine to work very effectively in such countries. The new name? Perhaps myvermectin.
