Speaking to reporters at the White House Wednesday afternoon, Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to give a timeline for when OSHA will release a new federal rule, put in place by President Joe Biden, that forces companies with more than 100 employees to require Wuhan coronavirus vaccinations.
"You had said it [OSHA rule] would be weeks just now, when it was announced a few weeks ago it was going to take a few weeks so are you signaling a delay of any kind with that rule?" a reporter asked.
"We never gave an exact timeline so maybe we should have been more specific at the time. Obviously it takes time and we want to make sure when we put these out they are clear and they provide guidance necessary to businesses," Psaki said. "I can't give you a timeline. OSHA's working on them but obviously, hopefully we'll know more in the coming weeks."
When the rule was announced on September 9, at the same time Biden was leaving hundreds of Americans stranded behind enemy lines in Afghanistan, the White House issued a description of OSHA's plans.
The Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is developing a rule that will require all employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis before coming to work. OSHA will issue an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) to implement this requirement. This requirement will impact over 80 million workers in private sector businesses with 100+ employees.
Thousands of healthcare workers, law enforcement officers and others have been fired or have quit over vaccine requirements. In New York, newly minted Governor Kathy Hochul plans to replace fired healthcare workers with National Guard soldiers.

Companies like the ones you describe take on a huge risk when they impose vaccine mandates. The vaccine manufacturers are immune from lawsuits over defective products. Employers that require these vaccines are not. It would seem to me that these large corporations would actually WANT to see OSHA impose these stupid mandates, because that would almost certainly shield the company from any lawsuits if their employees suffer from any adverse effects of the vaccines.
And in the meantime people are losing their jobs.

Same. I worked for a giant converged company who clearly gets directives. It was VERY obvious during the BLM riots.
It’s been focused tested by woke liberal stalwarts like PepsiCo. They are already in such terrible state personnel wise they can barely maintain. Huge strike by production employees demanding an end to “suicide shifts” already this summer. As much as they’d love to, they can’t enforce this edict. The Vaxx Mafia might have finally jumped the shark.

NY Gov Hochul is a typical liberal ignoramus. In the 1990s the NG and Army Reserves had a restructuring putting most field and combat arms to the NG units, and support to the Army Reserve, in a massive effort to reduce redundancy and improve readiness. What this means is that the few remaining NY state NG professional medical personnel (most are in fed AR now) - MD, DDS, RN, LPN, various technicians like xray, respiratory - are persons who already work in the civilian sector medical facilities. So Hochul is just wasting tax money reshuffling the deck for appearances sake and to have a soundbite.
As to the nonprofessional enlisted field medics, they also work as civilians as cops, paramedics, firemen, and also college students, mortgage brokers, office workers, etc. So Hochul is engaging in more medical/emergency worker useless reshuffling, and this majority of NG medical workers have a very low skill level that is acceptable for 24-hour battlefield life expectancy, but unlicensed and beneath the needs of the civilian sector (they can change bedpans).

A new term to remember: “Vaccinazification”. Using an illusory threat of a disease to impose fascist controls over others.
Article III requires a concrete injury that is not speculative and that is justiciable.
You can’t file a lawsuit based on what is going to happen in the future. The law simply doesn’t work that way.
Until OSHA publishes the rule, no one even knows what the exact parameters of the rule will be. We have a rough idea and a lot of media spin, but none of those carry the weight of the law.

Rules are not laws. Only Congress may write laws. So, everyone can tell Biden to stick his “rule” up his fascist keister.
I imagine they know if they try to sue now the courts will do what they did in Pa. No standing because there is no OSHA rule.
Doesn’t look like they need to do it officially cause companies are already doing it. And Congress is silent. Sad stuff all around.
OSHA said to expect the ETS to be effective immediately upon release — so, no period for employers to get into compliance during which lawsuits might tie up the whole mess, companies are supposed to be getting compliant NOW to be ready whatever day this garbage is published — but even though companies are expected to be compliant in advance, for some reason no legal challenges can happen in advance. The day it’s published will likely be the day the unvaccinated lose their livelihoods. And still we’re told there’s some reason that the Republicans can’t actually do anything except blow smoke.
And the ninnies are all sporting a new graphic on their signatures that says, "fully vaccinated"
The minute the dust settles from firing 1/3 of us, the ninnies are going to be very surprised to find out they aren't "full vaxed" anymore and need a booster.
Then they'll lose more employees because a small number will die or be permanently injured and a larger number will say, "no thanks"....
