nother day, another gaffe made by President Joe Biden before a major world leader. What else is new?
While meeting with United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday, Biden told one of his favorite stories about one of his favorite topics: Amtrak.
It wasn’t a particularly noteworthy moment as far as banal chatter between foreign leaders goes, except for one, small problem.
Despite Biden having previously recounted the mildly interesting anecdote on more than one occasion, it's been exhaustively debunked and probably never happened.
While meeting with Johnson in the Oval Office, Biden told Johnson he’d heard he had traveled to the White House on Amtrak, which Johnson confirmed that he had.
Biden happily proceeded to tell a story “that has nothing to do with anything,” although, of course, it had to do with Amtrak, and it was clear Biden had brought up Johnson’s means of travel for the sake of telling his amusing anecdote.
“When I was vice president, the Secret Service didn’t like me traveling on Amtrak because there were too many options for people to cause trouble along the way. But I insisted I do it,” he continued.
He went on to explain that once, the papers had run a headline that he had traveled over 1,350,000 miles on Air Force Two.
“So I’m walking up to get on the train on that Friday and a guy, who was the number three guy from New Jersey on seniority as a conductor, walked up to me and grabbed me and goes like this, ‘Joey baby!’ and grabs my face. I thought the Secret Service was going to shoot him and I said no, no, he’s a friend,” Biden continued as the media pool laughed.

Old men get this notion that they can tell stories any way they want to, because most of the people who were alive at the time have either passed on, or their memory is as faulty as their own.
Back in the days before sound bites and video recordings, that strategy would work. But there are just too many ways to go into the archives now and totally disprove any assertions that made have been made to lead to some kind of self-aggrandizement. Made-up “facts” are still a lie.
Oh my and Boris thought he was a “breath of fresh air”....
Joey Baby ??? So Joe has Mafia friends ???
vide of it here
Joe Biden tells the DEBUNKED story about Amtrak for the THIRD time.

Completely made up story?
Do they mean the made up story that he is president?
Why would the MSM, or anyone else, expect to hear a factual recounting of an historical event from a man who can’t remember what he had for breakfast?
The clown show continues!!
I think it was Bill Clinton who said, if you believe it, it’s not a lie.
Tell us the one about how you got 80 million votes.
Yeah, but Quayle misspelled “potato”. Can’t get any worse than that, apparently.
The last year of my 95 year old fathers life was exactly like this. Constantly filled with delusional scenarios he thought were real but everyone else knew they could not have possibly happened.
Not only “made up story” but a STUPID, BORING STORY.
Boris could hardly keep his eyes open.
For a moment there I thought he DROPPED OFF.
Made up stories is just Biden being authentic.
But THAT’S not how the media will report it.
Oh my and Boris thought he was a “breath of fresh air”
Tells you Boris is not all there either ,LOL
Well, his election victory was made up. Their briefings and statements are all made up. Their success stories are made up. What’s a little made up anecdote going to hurt. The press finds them all adoring.
Biden is in place to put a marginally respectable face on the Communist Revolution being carried out on his watch - so what he actually says and does makes no difference as long as his presence keeps white moderate suburbanites complacent.
Who else besides Xiden and Johnson was there?
Too bad Boris didn’t hear Joe tell about his exploits with Corn Pop.
