That was my thought. If you personally watched $1,000,000 of Cheney political ads, every one of them, would YOU vote for Cheney? Or would it merely make you hate her more?
Think most anti-DC types will just hate her more. And Wyoming isn’t San Francisco. Or Blue Texas, like the city this fund raiser is being held in.
Not disagreeing. Hind sight is 20/20. Were you behind Bush/Cheney in 2001? After the close call with Al ‘massage this’ Gore in 2000? I respected Cheney then as I did Rumsfeld for bold action. It was Bush and the ROP theme that turned me off, and ultimately, over the last two decades, took a swift victory and turned it into Vietnam x 10.

Yes of course, it was more of a knee-jerk, anti-Democrat thing back then. But since Trump came along, a lot of the masks have been lifted.

When the father of Liz Cheney (Bush’s brain) called W and asked him to campaign for her, how could he say “no” to his own brain?

If nothing else has been made crystal clear over the past few years, it’s that the GOP-e absolutely hates those who have been supporting and voting for them over the past five decades. Imagine what could have been done if our representatives hadn’t been playing for the other team all this time?
The damage Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell caused is immeasurable.
