Hadley Hitson, Montgomery Advertiser Fri, September 10, 2021, 6:30 PM·1 min read The family of a man who died of heart issues in Mississippi is asking people to get vaccinated for COVID-19 after 43 hospitals across three states were unable to accept him because of full cardiac ICUs.
Ray Martin DeMonia died last week in Meridian, Mississippi. He was three days shy of his 74th birthday and a well-known native in Cullman, Alabama, his family said.
DeMonia suffered from a cardiac event, and emergency staff at Cullman Regional Medical Center had to bring him to the nearest available bed, which was nearly 200 miles away at a Mississippi hospital.

Read article again. Issue is NOT hospitals are full, it is ICU’s were full. ICU = INTENSIVE CARE UNIT.
May be true today. The patient needed ICU a few weeks before today.
I recall reading recently, that oxygen therapy works better than pumping room air using ventilators.
Unvaccinated patients make up majority of Alabama’s COVID-19 patients in hospital ICUs
Brian Lyman
Montgomery Advertiser
Unvaccinated people in ICUs tend to be younger, and with far fewer underlying conditions.
There were 68 more patients than available ICU beds in the state on Wednesday.
In addition, Griffin said, half the vaccinated people in ICUs for COVID are immunocompromised, because of organ transplants or chemotherapies. By comparison, the unvaccinated population that ends up in ICU generally lacks comorbidities, or the presence of two or more medical conditions.
43 hospitals? Are you high or just stupid?
Sue who?
Probably the same for any other ICU patient. If the ICU is full then it's full.
I agree. With everyone story out of DC or about the scamdemic, as with the Penthouse letters, we end up getting screwed in the end.
Exactly, this story is B.S. ie: Yahoo
*** May be true today. The patient needed ICU a few weeks before today.***
The open ICU beds I posted was FRIDAY. I looked up 2 cities within a 30 minute drive of Cullman and found 80 open ICU BEDS
The article says that Thursday there were 60 more ICU patients in Alabama than there are beds.
They are obviously lying
BS
This is a representation of the biggest Alabama hospitals and their ICU coverage.
Note the date is August 12, but still, plenty of hospitals NOT at 100% capacity of ICU beds. They are in the blue color.
All of those Ivermectin horse paste overdoses hogging the ICU beds, I betcha.
Total BS.
hahaha if you were quarter as intelligent as me, you would be doing good.
You would be correct. See post #115.
“Forty-three hospitals and none could take him? I find it hard to believe.”
Exactly. Hospitals shut down access to anyone not covid. Critical care was denied as States demanded and hospitals complied to shutdown anything not covid related.
So you want the staff to get SERIOUSLY sick with covid, attending all those covid patients in ICU?
See post #115.
