Moderna COVID vaccine may give you more antibodies.

People who received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine had “slightly higher” antibody levels than those who received the Pfizer, now formally called Comirnaty, shot, according to a new small study.

While both vaccines insert molecules called mRNA that teach our bodies how to produce coronavirus antibodies, the Moderna shot uses more than three times the amount of mRNA than the Pfizer vaccine. This, the University of Virginia School of Medicine researchers say, could explain their findings.

So, does that mean the Moderna vaccine offers better protection against COVID-19?

The study was published Sept. 2 in the journal JAMA.

“The thing that will be interesting is figuring out if measuring antibody levels ends up being a good marker of vaccine protection,” study co-author Dr. Jeffrey Wilson, an immunologist at the University of Virginia, said in a statement. “At the moment, we don’t know for sure.”

The team examined blood samples from 167 vaccinated university employees collected anywhere between one week to a month after their second doses; 79 received the Pfizer vaccine and 88 got the Moderna shot. Recipients were 42 years old, on average, and most (72%) were women.

Those who got the Moderna vaccine had more antibodies (about 69 micrograms per milliliter) in their blood than people who got the Pfizer shot (about 46 micrograms per milliliter) — regardless of age.

Comirnaty has got to be one of the worst branding names of all time. I bet some consultancy got paid millions for it too.

Sounds kind of like comorbidity.

AFAIK they haven’t switched yet. Takes time to get them delivered. But you are right. Why give a 3rd jab of something that obviously doesn’t work very well?

Another thing about Israel is they have their vaccine passport system, but you can get a “green pass” if you were previously infected and recovered. No jab required. Being a small country with a lot of nationalized healthcare they can track it better than we do. But there is obviously a lot of logic to it that for some reason we and most other western countries simply refuse to recognize. It’s “Everybody must get jabbed” when all the data suggests natural immunity is far better. The body learns many ways to identify and kill off a foreign invader, not just by identifying the “spike protein”.

👍🏼

What a pitiful vax-brag thread this is.

Can you imagine how this makes the saps who had the other jabs feel?

Those who have been so condescending toward those of us who have exercised caution and wisdom will soon discover that all they have done is grab a handful of air, with a side helping of spike protein-induced internal damage. And next come the endless “booster shots.” Talk about Lucy with the football….

They will never be able to get off the insane “vaccine” treadmill, running…running…running to grab the government-promised carrot on the stick that will forever remain just beyond their grasp. Time to wise up.

Hey....don't be so quick to dance, trop!

Moderna COVID vaccine may give you more antibodies.

Key word being MAY.

It MAY also give you more clots....more other adverse effects, too.

"It may" is a tricky phrase.

Yeah, sounds like a lot of things distasteful or unlikable. Conformity. Co-maternity, confirmatory. A few others.

Name aside, it also appears to be the least effective of the 3 vaccines available in the US. Hard to believe it was the first one to get full FDA blessing (all other reasons why it shouldn’t have been approved also aside, why they approved the worst one is beyond me). The Astra Zeneca seems worse, followed by Russian and Chinese. Some of the Indian vaccines seem to be solid but I haven’t done a lot of research on them. And the one from Novavax may turn out to be solid but too late to the game. Market is already saturated. Unless of course, they “mandate” we take this stuff every 8 weeks.

There were some scientists who suggested early on, if you’re going with the mRNA vaccines, you should mix one Moderna with one Pfizer. But few heeded that advice and I don’t know of any completed studies on its safety or efficacy.

Yep, the Moderna is a bit bigger dose than Pfizer...makes for a “more sore” arm, but better antibody production.

Woohoo! More antibodies for the wrong virus, and only for it. Enjoy Delta!

I am thinking that the reason the CCP released the internet scare videos at the start of this was just to prevent people from having covid-parties and getting done with it.

We would have had a broader immunity that would give more advantage with these variants.

Of course, the lab is still operating, so who knows what’s next. We may never get on top of this.

...While both vaccines insert molecules called mRNA that teach our bodies how to produce coronavirus antibodies...

Although 'mostly accurate', I think they are skipping an important step. If I understand correctly, these 'vaccines' program your body to generate spike proteins, and then your body generates antibodies in reaction to these self-generated spike proteins.
Really a very clever idea, but I'd be extremely leery with taking something that changes my internal 'source code' to turn it into a poison (spike protein) generating machine. At least wait 5-10 years with control subjects to compare effects on those who received the shots vs those who did not get the shots.

And even if the results panned out - I'd still pass. The idea of mucking around with my 'source code' gives me pause. Getting shots of dead viruses still is kind of iffy - since the viruses aren't always 'dead' (as was the case of the poor children in Africa who got the Bill Gates polio shots, and it turned out the viruses really weren't dead -- and they ended up getting polio) - but that path sounds more palatable than using this clever idea that turns my body into a spike protein generating machine.

Also, it seems like this path requires a reload of the source code every few months ... which is very creepy, as you wonder if you are left with a 'trans-human' subject after the half-dozen (or more) 'treatments'.

They had covid parties in Cuomos old peoples homes. Didn’t work out too good.

I don’t think a party is needed.

This seems off...
While Moderna and Pfizer use minor variations of the covid spike protein the delivery mechanism is the same and should generate the same number of antibodies.

Now, the antibodies will be trained differently but the number of antibodies SHOULD be statistically similar.

J&J claims their vax lasts 8 months and has very strong protection against Delta. Take it with a grain of salt because it is their own internal studies and not yet peer reviewed.

Pfizer seems to drop to low 40% range in 10 weeks, which is consistent with the early trial data showing it dropped to low 40% after 5 weeks following the first jab. I presume this is partly why they made them a 2-jab course knowing the one jab immunity wanes. But now we know the second jab seems to confer no better protection. Just another 5 weeks. Endless jabs for Pfizer folks!
