Alas, both you and McConnell are right. There was a very persuasive article just the other day arguing that the reason hated, unpopular Kamela was made VP is because she's so hated and unpopular that no-one will want to replace the demented president with her. She's insurance against impeachment or resignation. Besides, Biden's handlers prefer the sure thing.

And all the "He needs to go!" bluster said by politicians is not getting on the MSM news and shaping public opinion for his removal.(sadly) Just campaign brochure points

One party always gets its way and the other is weak, pathetic, and feckless and offers no real resistance at all. One might conclude that the reason they offer no resistance is because they largely agree with the other side?
If this was Trump, the D’s would have impeached him 3 times already.
