Former President Donald Trump would love to take down Adam Kinzinger, one of his chief House GOP antagonists, in next year's midterms. But Democrats might beat him to it. Illinois lawmakers are on the verge of rolling out a new congressional map that will very likely gut Kinzinger’s exurban Chicago seat, according to several sources close to the redistricting process, leaving him with just a few bleak options for remaining in office next year.
The elimination of his district would force the veteran Republican congressman to choose between running in unfamiliar territory, possibly against another incumbent, or making a long shot run for governor or Senate in a blue state — and that assumes Kinzinger could prevail in a GOP primary after spending the last year criticizing a former president who remains beloved by the base.
“Adam, right now, he and I get along great. What he’s doing, he’s doing. But if you look at the Republican electorate in any one of those districts — probably not,” said Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.) when asked if Kinzinger could win in a different seat. “It'd be hard.”

I called that months ago. I hate to break it Adam but he’s f*cked if he does decide to run against governor fatass. There won’t be one democratic who will vote for him and damn few republicans given the way he’s show. The middle finger to Trump. This guy is so transparent it’s almost like a Saturday night live skit.

He was my Congressman at one time in 2014. He supported DACA at that time. Since he would NOT meet with his constituients I created a TOWNHALL and invited him.
I called it Townhall for the Tax payers of the 16th Congressional District.

She did have work in the administration. Maybe not at the level she wanted, or maybe she was let go, but she wasn’t turned down.
There’s no way to redistrict her candidacy. She doesn’t have to live in the same district, only the same state (you could live in Cairo, IL and run for a seat north of Chicago if you were so inclined. Probably wouldn’t win the nomination, but you can’t stop the person from running if they meet the other qualifications). If they move Kinzinger’s seat to more GOP environs he hasn’t represented, that’s more likely to benefit Lauf. Kinzinger is a IL Combiner puppet who’d be better off switching parties, but he can cause more damage within the GOP.
It’s also possible he may not run for reelection and instead run for Governor to be the RINO Combiner ringer for the execrable Prick Sir. If the latter is seen as a liability, they might even “fix it” for him to win, just like they did for RINO Combiner Rauner in 2014. He’ll be used to sabotage Trump and the GOP mainstream in IL.
I hate to burst your bubble, but there is a long list of bush league chamber of commerce worshipping republiCANT’S that have to go at all costs...

I agree. Unfortunately, I think the incumbency reelection rate will remain at approximately 93%.
He IS my congressman now, and I can guarantee-damn-tee you I won’t be voting for him. The GOP in Illinois is worthless.

Whomever Dhimmicraps “don’t want to” run against, are “afraid of,” should NEVER be nominated. Taht candidate is “electable,” and will therefore lose.
ALWAYS choose the candidate they “want to” run against, the “unelectable” one. That person will beat the invincible Dhimmicrap. Presidents Reagan and Trump prove that point.

That means that Kinzinger is the opponent they are hoping for, because they know that a great number of Republicans won’t vote for him.
