Bret Baier responded to a statement former President Trump released in which he specifically named Baier, who was anchoring for Fox News when the network called Arizona for President Biden. In the statement, Trump made several baseless claims of election fraud in Arizona, all of which Baier fact-checked.
“The former president points to a third-party audit presented to the Arizona state Senate showing 168,000 ballots were printed on illegal paper. An elections official in Maricopa County says it uses paper approved by Dominion Voting Systems, which makes the tabulation equipment."
“Former President Trump says 74,000 mail-in ballots were received that were never mailed. That claim appears to be based on data that does not show the total mail-in vote. It does not reflect the total early vote either, something acknowledged by the third-party audit itself.”
“The former president says 11,000 voters were added to the rolls after the election and still voted. Again, Maricopa County says provisional votes go through a rigorous verification process to ensure validity. They say only eligible voters were added to the rolls.”
“Also, the Trump claim that all access logs to the voting machines were wiped was debunked back in May,” Baier said, “by the Republican chairman of the county Board of Supervisors.”
Trump also claimed that the election server was hacked, which, according to election officials, is not possible.
“Former President Trump claims the election server was hacked during the election. Maricopa County says its election server is not connected to the internet, and independent auditors found no evidence of a breach there.”
“There have been a total of 182 potential fraud cases referred to investigators in Arizona,” Baier said, “only four have led to charges.”
“We will continue to present the facts as they stand day to day,” Baier said.

Dominion doesn’t get to “approve” paper used in elections. That is done by the government. Trump is actually right. Baier is right that the ballot paper was Dominion approved. However, Baier is wrong in his assumption that Dominion could approve paper that ballots were printed on to be used in their machines. They have no such authority to change the paper used for ballots.
That is like saying, the United States approved paper that currency is printed on but the manufacturers of the printing machines only approve of different paper and it is that paper that must be used.
Dominion as an election machine manufacturer does not have the authority to change the requirements of the paper the ballots are printed on and must adhere to the standards and requirements set out by the government.
Any paper not authorized by the government has potential to be fraudulent and should be discarded. When ballots get treated as if they were currency with all the security features and fraud counter measures installed, then can we have fair ballot counting with forensic audits to back up the count. Current measures for ballots do not do the job. I am talking about the signature of each printer that is printed on a ballot to determine from which printer was used to print that ballot.

How does Baier’s statement contradict Trump? Is the paper approved by Dominion legal or illegal? If the paper used by Maricopa County is illegal somebody should explain why they would do that? Was it to allow easy introduction of fake ballots?
Is Baier too ignorant to see the relevance here?
