The buck stops with Biden. He carries direct responsibility for this disaster
https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/the-buck-stops-with-biden# ^

Joe Biden is unfit to be President of the United States. It was obvious when he was running for office that he lacks the physical stamina and mental acuity for the job. It has become increasingly obvious since January that the part-time President has either hidden from the media or stumbled through the kind of scripted press conferences that Americans rightly used to deride as the hallmark of banana republics.

The handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan has exposed Biden's incapacity. The painful truth is now undeniable. He must go — even if that means Kamala Harris, who has been similarly wrong about Afghanistan and much else besides, taking over.

They say success has many fathers, but failure is an orphan. This failure is a two-parent family. One is the mother of all institutional failures: the inadequacy of technocrats, so convinced of their intellectual and moral superiority that they respond to the intrusions of reality with snark and pique.

An administration exquisitely sensitive to pronouns, bathrooms and fictitious forms of self-identification has shown itself to be brutally insensitive to the fate of Afghans who have risked all by self-identifying as allies of the United States and everything it once stood for.

This is a disgrace to the United States. Hard as it may be to believe, people all over the world still look to the United States as the last, best hope. The administration’s response, blaming it on the media, only adds further shame.

Nancy pelosi is almost sounding like a better alternative.

I will say that Nancy has had to bite her tongue as the party lurched to the Left. I never thought deep down she is on board with it, but she's always been about power so she's gone along.

The picture of arrogance and incompetence that is emerging would tax the painterly skills of a Hunter Biden.

OK, that made me chuckle. Still, I have to ask the newly awakened: why should incompetence be surprising in a fellow so corrupt and disgusting for so many years? He hasn't changed.

That Harris isn't much of an improvement is unfortunate but irrelevant. She's what we have. There isn't a route short of double impeachment that will take this thing any other way. That the real decision in DC is now whether she is pliable enough to serve is even more unfortunate but is irrelevant as well. She's what they have.

And now the 2022 midterms become one of the most significant elections in American history - we can't take her off the perch, but we can clip her wings.

Funny I was just thinking this very thing this morning. Yes, the deep state is evil, but they are like evil teenagers who are so impressed with their perceived intelligence they thought being president was easy. THEY knew best how to run the world. In Biden they got their chance and they blew it big time.

Joe could never have been installed as President with out the media propagandists.

Biden was unfit 8 month ago.
Not that it matters because he is not the legitimate president.

What are the odds that this “brown blizzard” in Afghanistan is unwinding exactly as the monsters who claim to rule over us intended?

Biden was unfit on the best day of his life. He has always been very low IQ for someone in Congress - I would be surprised if he was ever much above 100, and with the senility he’s as dumb as a bag of hammers. But this is how Obama and his handlers get another 4 or 8 years to loot and destroy the nation. That, and massive cheating with the help of compliant “Republicans” who are also on the take.

It doesn’t matter. Democrat voters remain as clueless as ever.

I love how all these people in government take, “Full responsibility” with the usual automated lip service like, “The buck stops here”...

Yet they don’t resign or step down. Nothing happens to them.

A lot of the ones who voted for Biden must be spinning in their graves

Nancy pelosi is almost sounding like a better alternative. Wonder does she still maintain her position in senate if she becomes president? Is her seat still hers after?

Nancy Pelosi is in the House, not the Senate. And no, she would not keep her position.

House not senate. thanks was not thinking at the time.
Is the House seat then open for replacement? Or just suspended till her return. Would almost be worth it to get her out of congress permanently.
