KENOSHA, Wis. — A new video obtained by prosecutors purportedly shows a man believed to be Kyle Rittenhouse threatening to shoot a man before deadly unrest in Kenosha.
Kenosha County prosecutors said the evidence shows Rittenhouse is predisposed to using deadly force.
It was part of a motion filed this week as prosecutors prepare to try Rittenhouse for shooting three people during the Jacob Blake protests a year ago.

They’ve had plenty of time to fabricate deep fakes.
Exactly. DoNotTrust.
Predisposed.
It’s a Philip K. Dick trial.
He didn’t threaten to kill anyone in that video.
The best way to not have to use deadly force is if people believe you will use it.
Among best ways to have to use deadly force, if you can resort to it at all, is for the bad people to be dismissive of you.
Progressives seem inherently incapable of understanding that, or at least they think we should all act like pussy-wimps until the fur finally starts flying … because otherwise we might otherwise antagonize people.
Hmm... I put this up there with “anonymous sources say that Trump purportedly said that he was the reincarnation of Napoleon”
Let’s see the video.
I’m sure Kyle is merely saying “if these guys attack me, I’m shooting them.” (if he even said anything like that at all)
Fake news.
everyone who is interested in self defense is ‘predisposed to use force’ if the unfortunate need arises- that doesn’t mean they set out to kill someone for no reason- millions o f gun owners who would use deadly force if they regrettably were forced into that situation, have had guns for 100’s of years and haven’t just gone around shooting people for no reason- and have been fortunate enough to go their whole lives never having to defend themselves i n a life and death situation like Kyle was in
ok this is just STUPID reaching by the prosecution (what else is new)
“They claim it shows Rittenhouse 15 days before the Kenosha unrest outside a drug store.
He watches people he believed were shoplifting.
“It looks like one of them has a weapon,” the man believed to be Rittenhouse says in the video. “I wish I had my (expletive) AR. I’d start shooting rounds at them.”
There’s no explanation in the court filing on where the video was shot or how prosecutors obtained it.
They argue it shows Rittenhouse “threatened to kill someone based on his baseless assumption and wrongful interpretation.””
This event does NOT show premeditation - this event is not even similar to the circumstances where Kyle had to shoot IN SELF DEFENSE.
The shooting is all on camera - Kyle was not the aggressor but being attacked and chased.
if it even was him- they don’t even know if it was him apparently-
They'll have to do better than 'purportedly' if they want to use it to convict him.
Most prosecutors are scum and throw hissy fits when you stand up to them. I had the pleasure to deal with this first had. The Plaintiff filed psychotic claims against me that the prosecutor ran with. The Judge tossed everyone of them and said the plaintiff needs psychiatric help. The prosecutor called my lawyer stating that he was going to challenge the Judges ruling in a higher court. Was then told it would cost me $10K more and add a year to the trial. Told him my lawyer to tell the prosecutor to appeal and I’ll send the check. The prosecutor did not expect that and backed right down. If you are even in a situation don’t back down. They are bullies use to dealing with stupid and weak people. Fun to watch them squirm.
You don't say.
yes- and the Covington Catholic School kids “purportedly” chanted build the wall...build the wall...
is there a way to donate now?? I’d like to get on that list.
They have found some sketchy evidence that Rittenhouse was willing to defend himself, and two weeks later, a few thugs tried to kill him.
Doesn’t matter. Hubris watching a video is just that - “big talk”. I see a lot of that here. It doesn’t mean that it causes you to give up your right to self defense when attacked.
Kyle’s lawyers need to move to exclude.
Where’s the voice analysis evidence?
