HOUSTON — Houston police are looking for tips in a case where they said a driver was surrounded by a group of men on ATVs and bikes and then shot to death.
This happened on Friday night around 7:20 p.m. in the 9000 block of Westheimer Road near Fondren.
According to investigators, the group of men on the ATVs, dirt bikes and bicycles surrounded the 48-year-old driver and even tried opening the driver's doors. Someone then pulled out a gun and fired shots at the driver as he tried to get away, police said.
The driver, who was hit at least once, crashed in the 7400 block of Westheimer near Hillcroft and died at the scene.
Police do not have any details on the suspects and don't know the motive.

St Louis occasionally gets large groups on motorcycles who like to occupy all the lanes of the Interstates. Haven’t heard too much of their being hostile but they do block traffic while they do their antics.

The body is 3mm hardened stainless steel, same stuff SpaceX used to build Saturn 5 class rockets. 9mm splatters on it.
The windows are a transparent aluminum ceramic. It will stand up to repeated pounding with heavy steel projectiles (can eventually break, but even then resists penetration).
Hasn’t been evaluated in detail, prototype’s being rare and expensive. Expect someone will buy one just to shoot it up; results will likely be impressive for a $40-70k production truck.
If I’m in my vehicle and surrounded by idiots on ATVs and motorcycles you can bet they would be getting run over if they threatened me.

What I SHOULD have put down was USCCA, for the United States Concealed Carry Association. I’m a member. They are a great organization.I got it mixed up because of some health issues I have and the CCFA is a great organization, too.
