We should go roaring back in and slam the Taliban to let them know that they can not threaten United States people with their stupid moves. We should beat them down to show that we will not take their nonsense. If we do not, nobody will trust us in the future. We can do it. Why do we not so it? The Taliban are not up to what are troops are. Why are we putting up with this?
Its going to look like the opening scenes of Capra’s “Lost Horizon” We should be sending planes in full of Marines now to guard the airport and roads from the embassy to same—then round the clock airlifts to get all the Americans and Europeans out ASAP. But, as that sensible move would make Biden and company look bad, they will not and it will be a televised bloodbath. In a week there will be a massive clamber for Biden to step down.
Ms. Saigon is singing the Blues in an Afghani tea room near you. Last flight from the embassy roof with the flag will be soon.
I always smiled when I heard the Doors, Hendrix, old Stones, CCR, etc. coming from a hooch during OIF. The energy, destruction, and malaise of Baghdad reminded me of the stories and images of Saigon (I was a baby then ankle biter during ‘Nam). change the jungle to desert and I felt we never left the Viet war just continued our warfare and polices in an new place.
Sounds a lot like the last days of the German 6th Army in Stalingrad before the total Soviet victory. Pray for our troops who are being sent in there. Right now something like 30,000 people need to be evacuated over the one runway at that airport.

Just a thought. Why would the Taliban let the US evacuate the embassy? Why not just kill everyone? What’s Biden going to do? Declare war? What are liberals going to do? Vote Republican? What is the UN going to do? Condemn the Taliban?
There is no downside for the Taliban.
That's thousands of Muslim Afghani, not Americans. They should be forced to stay and fight. We've given them $88 billion in training and arms, but they only know how to surrender. I do not want Muslims immigrating to American. I do not want cowards immigrating to America. We could have pulled all the Americans out earlier this week. But this is a planned Muslim Migration by the Biden administration with months of preparation including the airlift, housing at Ft Lee, VA, healthcare, clothing, and food. Just this past Thursday, 1,200 Afghani Muslims "immigrated" to Ft. Lee. 1,200 Americans could have been on those flights on Thursday, but instead Biden chose to send our troops in harms way so pedophile prophet worshiping death cultists can immigrate to our country. That is what is really happening here.
We do not owe a single Afghani a damn thing, particularly residency in America. This whole idea that we owe them because they helped our military is a crock of horse crap. They got paid for their service. Transaction complete. It doesn't make the Americans. They can now go and using their training and serve in the Afghan military. Just because all Afghans are a bunch of surrendering cowards doesn't make an argument for immigration to America, it actually makes an argument against immigration to America.
The bottom line that so many seem to lose track is that we are at war with Islam. That is what sane, rational people understand. Why in the hell would you facilitate the immigration of our enemy? You can just bet there were Taliban in the group of 1,200 on Thursday.
It is just another one of the many ways leftist are polluting our nation. They did it Somalia, and we have Illhan Omar as a consequence and ghettos full Somalis that absolutely nothing in common with Americans. They are doing it at our southern boarder. Our nation is full up of people that are never going to American, but the leftist plan to make them citizens and forever voting socialists.
