My cousin had stage 3 and half of his lung removed. He is doing great.

My Dad started smoking at 15, finally quit age 70 after his first heart attack. Had a second heart attack, then stage 3 lung cancer, and relapsed with lung cancer again a year later. Got Covid-19 this spring and only had a fever.
Old goat just refuses to die at age 79 now.

Lots of non-smokers get lung cancer; the second biggest cause (after smoking) is radon exposure - and everybody is exposed to radon. Everybody.

I am glad they caught it early.
It claimed my Dad's life within six months of diagnosis, but he was a heavy smoker.
