Yes. My father's father, a heavy smoker, died in his late '60s from lung cancer in 1972, but so did his wife, my grandmother, who never smoked, but shared the house with him.
I wish her Miss Griffith a recovery and a chance to reflect on big things.

I’ve lived a full life and been exposed to plenty of stuff including second hand smoke powerful chemicals from time to time.
N95 masks would have been a good thing in a number of those situations IMHO.
I used N95 masks in some cases at least.
And when it comes to marijuana heck I’m the opposite of Bill Clinton,
“I inhaled but I didn’t smoke”.

Not to mention that she grew up in the last days of atmospheric nuke testing, and inefficient automobiles that spewed all kinds of half-combusted garbage.
Had that last epiphany a few years ago when I found myself behind a cherry 1965 Mercury Monterey station wagon - the foul exhaust gave me a pleasant flashback to childhood for a second. We were swimming in atmospheric filth.
