Simone Biles Says She's Working On 'Mindfulness' After Exiting Women's Gymnastics Team Event

Posted on 07/27/2021 1:09:25 PM PDT by jroehl

It took me 3 hours to finally hear this on a replay of a news conference on Fox news. How many Freeper's have dramatically altered their life to work on mindfulness? Am I uniquely naïve for wondering this?

““Mindfulness” is a side effect of being “woke”.”

You really don’t know what mindfulness is obviously. Just search it. It has been around longer than Christianity.

There are tons of studies that have shown how beneficial mindfulness is. Maybe you should do a little homework before embarrassing yourself with an ignorant post.

Something tells me this little antic of hers is her cute way of taking a knee. I hope I’m wrong. I wish she could meet and learn a little something from Candace Owens.

Mindfulness is just focusing on the moment at hand and learning to filter negative thoughts and still what the Buddhists call the “monkey mind.”

As a gymnast, I would think she already practiced this discipline since if your mind wanders or you doubt yourself in the middle of a flip, you could end up with a broken back!

It’s an odd comment coming from an athlete of her caliber.

She quit on her team. Unforgivable.

A champion would never give in like this, so we know what she is not.

You are not alone. This has to be purposeful.

After the first Olympics I remember hearing about her being raised by Christian parents.

Celebrity dug in its ugly fangs and you see the result. She’s now making commercials promoting perversion, quit on her teammates, and turned her back on her God given talent.

“With everyone speaking up and the traction that Ahmaud and George are getting, Breonna will be remembered. She’s going to find justice. They’re already reopening her case. I’m happy for that. But I just don’t understand. She was sleeping. How do you feel threatened when you’re a police officer and they’re sleeping?

Come on now. We tried peaceful protesting. Then Colin Kaepernick—he lost his job. He lost his career. They took his whole entire career away from that poor man.”

It’s just so mentally and physically draining to be soooo special. How could we ordinary people ever understand that?

We don't? We can't?

It seems like it's something anybody could understand.

It's not even like there's anything new about it.

Going forward, I want to pay attention to those athletes who want to be there and represent their country proudly.

The 2nd best women’s gymnastics is a Hmong Girl from St. Paul named Suni Lee. She has a great big fun personality and is more than proud to be on team USA. I wonder if she isn’t performing better than Ms. Biles, so Biels dropped out.

There is also a girl from Forest Lake, MN who had won the 4th spot on the gymnastics team. Biels is old and spent and she knows it. Move over baby, the young girls are making a move.

Works for me, just slack off a little, the Europeans are better sportsmen anyway. There are more ways to measure an athlete than winning. I think love of team or love of others, even love of Country are 3 of them that are more important than winning. Anyone who ever played team sports knows this.

Clay Travis blasted her on Outkick for quitting on her team. He can’t believe some people are calling her a hero for quitting.

The teenage girl from Alaska, Lydia Jacoby that won a gold in the 100m breaststroke, it was a huge upset

It was fun to watch Lydia's thrilled reaction to seeing her name in first place and then to see her high school friends jumping for joy.

You make sense.... could be similar to drafting 18 year olds instead of older men. Healthy teens think that they are invincible.

Screaming racism is guaranteed.

She is a huge disappointment and screwed up biggly by dropping out. Hope she fails.

Such a disgrace.
