Black Rifle Coffee is a premium, small-batch, roast-to-order, veteran-owned coffee company based out of Utah. It has seen tremendous success over the past couple of years and has been dubbed the conservative alternative to Starbucks. But social media has been abuzz over the past few days regarding an interview Black Rifle CEO Evan Hafer gave to the New York Times Magazine. In response to the interview, The Post Millennial wrote that Black Rifle “goes woke, throws customers under the bus in bizarre NYT interview.” In addition, Newsmax said the company had called out some of its customers as “a repugnant group of people.”
Conservatives on Twitter expressed outrage.
“Black Rifle Coffee is DONE!” tweeted conservative author Nick Adams.
“It looks like Black Rifle Coffee, a company which became famous because of conservatives, is now trying to distance themselves from conservatives,” tweeted Brigitte Gabriel, the founder of ACT for America.
Something didn’t sound right about this.
Let’s get the air cleared right away. Black Rifle Coffee’s founder and CEO has spoken out and is disputing how his comments were presented by the New York Times and represented by those reacting to the article, who were led to believe that Black Rifle Coffee bashed conservatives.
Evan Hafer decided to set the record straight regarding the “significant amount of misinformation being put out on the internet” about Black Rifle Coffee and about statements that he has made.
Hafer quickly debunked the notion that he made derogatory remarks about BRCC’s customers or conservatives and then proceeded to explain how the New York Times deliberately twisted his words

Good point. Ted Bundy drove a Volkswagen. I don’t recall Volkswagen disavowing Serial Killers who used their product. I don’t recall 3M apologizing for all the victims that have been hogtied with duct tape.
BRC marketed their product to the very people they are rushing to disavow. Now when their base turned on them they bend over backwards to try to kiss the asses of the same people they just kicked in the ass.
Piss poor marketing. Maybe these guys are in the wrong line of work. They should randomly pick one of their packers to run the company and go work on the assembly line. Maybe they’d learn something.

Fairly obvious - he is the one being talked about. He is/was one of the leaders of the Proud Boys. You know - that racist supremacist group.

In the video, right after that photo was taken, Kyle is facing the guy to his right with the baseball bat. Baseball bat guy kept that non-threatening posture as Kyle looks at him (gun lowered), Kyle sees that he is not a threat and then Kyle walks/runs away.
I sure hope the defense attorney shows that part of the video. Kyle was not some crazed gunman - he was acting in self defense.
I watched the whole 9 minute speech from the CEO and he is full of it.
The man is a weasel and talks out of both sides of his mouth.

Is Black Rifle Coffee a public corporation? I read they were doing very well up to now. Did anyone here invest in the company? Just curious.

I think he shot the guy with the pistol in the arm - but same result!
Watching the video, it appears that Kyle’s rifle jammed. He was in the process of clearing the jam, and the guy with the pistol decided to make his move to shoot Kyle.
Kyle was faster and cleared the jam and shot his attacker.
That’s why I’m a revolver guy.
