Senate Republican Leader Scott Wilk said. “We should be doing all we can to lift these young people up.”

With friends like these…

Finland. They apparently tried it in a limited way, and the results were so negative that they canceled any plans of instituting this mistake nationwide.

A place like Finland is such a homogeneous place with a population largely with a shared culture and values. If an idea fails there it's chances as you add variables like, say, illegal immigrants out the wazoo, the chances are of it getting a better result are nil.

Send all the poor and lazy people to California.

And let’s get a republican government elected to the federal government. Then, if the republicans do the proper thing, California will die, and the poor and lazy will have to move elsewhere, preferably to China and/or Europe.

Not until the local officials and organizations who are handling the funds drain it first!

I actually don’t have a problem with a little helping hand to young adults who are exiting the Foster Care system. There are so many scams and problems with it, compounded with poor education and psychological trauma. Those kids are not to blame.

I know a guy in the same industry as me, different company but close by. He’s a blue collar worker, machinist, plant engineer. He and his wife have fostered dozens of children over the years. They are good people, honest hard working. As far as I know none of their kids ever tried to stab one of their siblings.

But orphans, for example, who go into Foster Care - they should be entitled to receive their biological parents social security money. A lot of times it is scammed away from them. I’d say crack down on those crooks, and also maybe find some ways to help foster kids adjust to the world on their own. No problem with that at all. If it is done right, of course.

Dems take from those who are foolish enough to have a job and give the money to those who vote democrat. Eventually, there are no more suckers going to work, and the government gives out money based on nothing, inflation takes off, and everyone (except the ruling elite) is starving.

Liberals are:

1- incapable of learning

2- incapable of admitting an error.

No program will ever be cancelled.

6 years later... Governor exclaims:
“I’m shocked! Shocked, that there is all this Careless, Work-Avoidant, Family destroying, Single-Baby-Mama behavior going on in this Great State!!”

The votes — 36-0 in the Senate and 64-0 in the Assembly — showed bipartisan support for an ideaIDIOCY

Fixed it for them.

>>Take from the hard working folks and buy votes from the rest.<<

Most of whom will leave so as not to be subsidizing sloth. I did that 10 years ago for just that reason.

But total dependency on the State is the end game.

Tax the rich
Feed the poor
‘Til there are no
Rich no more...

When I listened to this song as a kid I actually thought Alvin was being sarcastic. Now some 40 + years later? It almost makes sense if it said, til there are no poor no more. But the more I have observed over the years the goal is obviously “till everybody’s poor”. The useful idiots who want to get the rich haven’t figured that out.

I've always felt that little snippet could be taken two ways: "If you tax the rich excessively everyone becomes poorer". Or 'On with the revolution! Eat the rich!'

I suspect it was more the latter but the former is more true.

“In sum, I am surprised how similar South Africa is to America’s cities and welfare-states.”

I’m not surprised by similarities. There is a globalist
network of Socialists, more like full on Communists out there
that is on the exact same playbook.

Look at the looting in the US over the last year. Then
look at South Africa. It’s pretty amazing how similar things
are.
