Caitlyn Jenner expects to run for California governor in 2022 in the event that Gov. Gavin Newsom survives his recall election.
"That is the plan," Jenner told Fox News at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas. "Once this is over with, we're going to kind of evaluate everything and what we've done over this recall election."
"But to be honest with you, I don't plan on losing this election. We're going to take him out now," Jenner said, referring to Newsom.
Jenner in April filed paperwork to formally launch a gubernatorial bid in the recall election against Newsom as a Republican. This came following a representative of Jenner's attempting to shut down rumors of a potential run for governor.
“Caitlyn is not running for governor, has never considered running for governor, and is very happy doing the work that she is doing to promote LGBT rights and spending time with her 18 grandchildren and 10 children,” Sophia Hutchins, Jenner's manager, said in February.
Jenner's campaign, which pegged the current governor as "King Newsom" for his strict and hypocritical policies on the coronavirus pandemic.

Which in California is an asset.
That this attention seeking individual with such extreme mental deficiencies can strut about proudly after a late age gender change is not surprising, but is sick and just wrong.

How this works is we have a recall election on Sept 14.
Q 1 is recall or no? 50% + 1 yes, and Newsom is recalled, please God.
Q 2 is who do you want to replace him if he’s recalled? Any Tom Dick
or Harry can be listed there. When we recalled Grey Davis I think about 40 people were listed there.
So Jenner is on there I guess. And several more and there will no doubt be even more before whatever the deadline is (end of July maybe?)
The fact that Jenner is on there does not mean he is popular with Republicans. It just means he paid to be on the ballot. Republicans don’t have much to do with it. And there is no primary.
Jenner just about sickens me when I see him now.

I’m in California, and I am hearing less and less about “Caitlyn’s” campaign. I don’t know if he’s just busy in the L.A. area, trying to round up donors or what.
It’s difficult for any new person to break in, because there is less shared info now about local event, compared to just 10 years ago. Most the big terrestrial radio shows in the SF Bay Area have shrunken or simply are no more. Some moved to internet only radio, leaving stuck in our ways older listeners (like me) behind.
The newspapers have shrunk too, now down to a six to eight page flimsy print out. It is narrower than before, with far less column inches than what was traditional for papers.
Jenner won’t even get 1%, it’s a non-starter.
At one time he was arguably the best athlete on the planet.
