Thanks to a series of leaks from the hard drive of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop computer, we know there is more than enough evidence to appoint a special counsel, or at least convene a grand jury to investigate bribery, tax fraud, and probably several other categories of crime involving the Biden Crime Family. Three recent articles by highly respected reporters Miranda Devine (who has a book on the subject about to come out and whose work informs the other two writers), Byron York, and Emily Jashinsky present evidence typed in Hunter’s own hand of the schemes whereby Hunter acted as the bagman collecting vast wealth from foreign interests by selling access to Joe when he was vice president and a potential candidate for the presidency.
All three accounts are worth reading, though there is considerable overlap. From Devine, here is an example of evidence that already ought to have led to a subpoena for financial records:
Hunter complained that he was forced to give half his salary to his father.
“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years,” Hunter wrote in a 2019 text message to his daughter, Naomi, that was found on his abandoned laptop.
“It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop [Joe], I won’t make you give me half your salary.”
There’s no direct evidence of such a wealth transfer on Hunter’s laptop.
A mildly curious US Attorney ought to be able to get a grand jury to subpoena the financial records of the Biden clan on this basis. Or, in an alternate reality, a special counsel appointed to reassure the public that their President is not beholden to foreign interests, ought to be digging through these and other financial records,

I’d be enthused but you know what happens if Joe Biden can not complete his term as president.
In a sane and just world we would see a fair and impartial investigation based on what has been publicly released from the laptop.
That world ended during the Obama administration.
The best proof is a simple cognitive experiment while reading these endless stories about the laptop. Change the name “Biden” to “Trump” and imagine the media frenzy.
Good luck with that Tom. I predict it will bring down Biden after the Kammunist is inaugurated and Biden is dead and buried.
They like it that Biden is beholden to the Chinese Communists. They would only investigate someone who isn’t bought and could be a threat to the corrupt system.

Curious about Democrat corruption? Those don’t exist. I think the left in general, and the media in particular enjoy knowing we see the corruption, we know how bad it is, and we can’t do a single thing about it.
Democrat corruption? This is fully bipartisan corruption. The GOP had control the levers of power to substantive address the Hunter issue and did nothing. That makes them full party to his crimes.
I think any day now a “mildly curious US Attorney” will arrive on a flying unicorn to investigate Democrat corruption.
Kamala takes over, Michelle Obama is named VP, and then Kamala gets overexposure of the fraud that she is. Kamala is forced to step down and Big Mike is President. I thought this was obvious.

They are the co-dependents and enablers. They have allowed this atrocity with their silence, before the election and now. They are more interested in protecting Joe Biden than they are the people of the United States.
It has already crumbled. Our institutions have failed because they put politics above the rule of law.

I can see it now. On January 19, 2025, Joe Biden is impeached over the contents of the laptop and publicly hung, and Heels Up is disqualified as a cackling moron, and both houses of Congress unanimously return to Donald Trump the remainder of his stolen term, and announce that he cannot serve three terms, so his landslide victory that past November cannot be recognized as a victory.

In the years after he left office as Vice President, Joe and Jill Biden made millions through book deals and speaking engagements but much of the money flowed through companies which allowed them to circumvent tax bills. In 2017 alone, the couple declared $11.1 million in earnings - more than double they had made in any other year for 18 years prior.
Joe has always insisted the money was earned above board. Yet, in a 2018 email to one his assistants, Hunter complained that he had been shut out of his own bank account and that his father had been using it.

The Bidens continue to keep much of their fortune in cash. This disclosure shows that they have at least $950,000 in six bank accounts, the same amount they disclosed holding last year.
