Now this is just a quick post regarding what was said on Fox News Channel by Shannon Bream.
The Arizona law is upheld.
Even Roberts voted for it.
Is this what she does for, uh, "release?"
Well, she wants to score her political points. Since liberals like to attack perceived enemies such as “white men”, her dissent hits all the bases.
Shocking that the Supreme Court got something right.
Bttt
This will increase the push to stack the court in order to offset the “racist” justices.
Attacking White men? That would indicate a two-fer, Racism and Sexism. That is unseemly behavior for a Justice on the United States Supreme Court and should be the impetous for the process of her removal from her position.
A victory, but seems like a narrow ruling.
I guess that gives justification for the left to both nuking the filibuster and packing the Supreme Court.
Racist political witch with no bench experience letting it all hang out.
Not ev n the pretense of being impartial. Her bias is on full display.
Roberts wants every ruling to be “narrow”
So states can rule out ballot harvesting. Sends a message on Dems HR-1 federalizing state elections. Sounds like great news but will need to read the decision before reaching a final opinion on it.
Outstanding!
‘Writing for the conservative majority, Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. said voting in Arizona was “equally open” to all eligible voters and that “mere inconvenience cannot be enough to demonstrate a violation” of the Voting Rights Act.’
Kagan, in a dissent for the court’s liberal wing, wrote:
“What is tragic here is that the Court has (yet again) rewritten—in order to weaken—a statute that stands as a monument to America’s greatness, and protects against its basest impulses. What is tragic is that the Court has damaged a statute designed to bring about ‘the end of discrimination in voting.’ I respectfully dissent.”
Please explain the discrimination?
If you’re saying honest and verified voting is a “basest impulse”, then yes, only among cheating lunatics.
Leftists have no shame:
‘Their lawyers alleged the “wrong precinct” rule resulted in discrimination against Latino voters in the Phoenix area who moved more often.’
What in the world do white men have to do with it? I’m going to have to go read the dissent to see how she got there. But her thought processes have never been very clear, if indeed they even exist.
