Educators around the country have come out to condemn a 'Dismantling Racism in Mathematics' program which tells teachers not to push students to find the correct answers to math problems because doing so promotes white supremacy.
The program is centered around a workbook for teachers entitled 'A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction' which asserts that America's education system – even mathematics instruction – reinforces the dominant power structures of white colonizers.
Grading students, asking them to show their work, requiring participation and even pushing them to get the right answer are depicted in the workbook as harmful to minorities.
The workbook was created by Oakland, California-based advocacy group The Education Trust-West under its 'Dismantling Racism in Mathematics Instruction' initiative, which is funded through a $1million grant from The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

I also heard that standardized tests were racist, because if the question were "what goes with cup" and the correct answer was "saucer," that was racist because poor black children didn't have saucers, and might choose "table" to go with cup instead.

This is great news and should be used during tax audits. Just tell the IRS that you were never pushed to find the correct answer and they should just accept what you provided. Hell, you should get a tax refund even if your not eligible just for filing and participating in the system. Oh wait, that all ready happens with Earned Income Tax Credits. Screw all of these people!

Pathetic. I have always considered anyone that cannot master mathematics up to calculus in high school to be either low-IQ’d or lazy. In other words, weak. This math program, just like leftist indoctrination, is designed to make people weak. We can have a strong America with a weak people.
