In my mind, Juneteenth will always be associated with the execution of Julius and Ethen Rosenburg. So, celebrate it as Communist Execution Day.
Growing up in Texas, I learned in public school in the 60s & 70s about the history of Juneteenth.
It was a Texas-thing. Very few Yankees had no knowledge of what Juneteenth was about.
Juneteenth was designated a Texas state holiday in 1979.
Just more pandering by the libs.
For me Juneteenth will always be the day the democrats got so upset that Trump was going to have a rally that they had to make up some holiday that no one really cares about just to stop him.
Not just a victory for Republicans it was also a victory for conservatism, for liberty, and for Christianity.
Civil Rights as well. LBJ may have been president, but in the house and senate far more Republicans voted for civil rights than Democrats.
It shows the power of the leftist media to twist things that these achievements are now associated with the Dems.

It's just the hypocrisy of Democrats that irritates people.
For Democrats it's Stir-Up-Racial-Hatred-And-Division day..they do not care about black people.
They only use them to further their Marxist goals, which ironically, are to enslave everyone in the entire world.
White folk should co-opt this pseudo holiday.
It should be a day where other races. colors, and creeds give gifts and stage events in appreciation of the Anglo Saxon race and enlightened post reformation Christian culture that established, warred for and still ensures their freedoms.

I was talking to my friend who owns a marina. Next year he'll be celebrating Juneteenth with a boat sale - if you are a black conservative you'll get any boat at 10% off...I'm not sure if he is kidding, but it would be funny.

The imagery in that phrase is so moving I hate to say the writer doesn’t know what he is talking about.
The event on June 19 ended slavery in the defeated Confederate States.
The United States clung to slavery for another six months.
And a little longer in some of the Indian nations.
The Black American population in the USA is only about 13%. They have been held in check by the CIA's drug programs, but they are still a threat to the elites in DC.
Covid, BLM, Defund the police, Rising crime, Bogus elections, Critical Race Theory, Resegregation by dividing the races, illegal immigration...
DC is pushing hard to bring it to a boil where someone or some group - White or Black - will snap and there will be no turning back.
When the lid comes off both sides will have armed feds behind them to pick off and/or disarm the survivors.
