no comment from the alliance on whether Douglas should be properly identified as an American Indian/African in an era of ‘cultural sensitivity’?

What he said was true

He actually knew about Douglass life

My favorite Douglass quote....paraphrasing ...and I’m no knee jerk conservative who slobbers over black figures like Sean and Beck and Levin do

Douglass had married a black woman the daughter of a black freedman in Maryland

Later after Anna died Douglass married a white woman named Helen Pitts from a yankee sufragette abolitionist family who was 22 years his junior

When criticized for marrying a whites woman instead of keeping it real...

He answered that first marriage he married for his black half

This time he married for his white half...lol

I found that clever...

Like Obama smoking cigarettes ....you can find things you like about folks you otherwise find mostly disagreement with.

Another liberal Jew falls prey to black racist/white progressives’ anti-Semitism disguised as ‘criticism’ of free speech (no matter how inappropriate it may or may not be).

Here is a quote the stinking 1619 and CRT scumbags can chew on from Frederick Douglass:

Fellow-citizens! there is no matter in respect to which, the people of the North have allowed themselves to be so ruinously imposed upon, as that of the pro-slavery character of the Constitution. In that instrument I hold there is neither warrant, license, nor sanction of the hateful thing; but, interpreted as it ought to be interpreted, the Constitution is a GLORIOUS LIBERTY DOCUMENT. Read its preamble, consider its purposes. Is slavery among them? Is it at the gateway? or is it in the temple? It is neither.

Reminds me of the Norm MacDonald joke:

“Some gold plated chains would make a nice retirement gift for a very very good slave.”

“ They’re going to put y’all back in chains,” Biden told the crowd, a comment that for some people could evoke memories of slavery in America.”

Had no idea that slaves were worked so hard that their extreme immune systems and robust physicality allowed them to live to be 170 years old!
...recounting newly formed memories shared with their younger family members ready to sew mayhem and wanton endangerment if ‘dissed’.

That was back when he had a bit of charm remaining!

I give it no more than 50 years before liberal Jewish teachers and administrators of the 20th and early 21st centuries get relegated to “Jim Crow” status among race-baiting historical revisionists in this country.

Rule: Do not attempt to use reason (critical thinking) with people who only live by “emotion”.

History is very complicated, contradictory, messy.

That means if you tell the truth about it you will be banned almost everywhere and hated by almost everyone.

In addition to that advice, I would suggest that you go to the source for information about Frederick Douglass. Read his autobiography, it is enlightening and shows that he was not a hate filled person. He was grossly mistreated so some of the comments about him having it good are ludicrous.

I have to admit, as a conservative Jew, seeing the lib woke atheist Jews get eaten alive by their own social creations is somewhat satisfying.
