But the group said that a school board in a district with a majority black student population requires 'cultural proficiency....

Later after Anna died Douglass married a white woman named Helen Pitts from a yankee sufragette abolitionist family who was 22 years his junior

Rule: Do not attempt to use reason (critical thinking) with people who only live by “emotion”.
History is very complicated, contradictory, messy.
That means if you tell the truth about it you will be banned almost everywhere and hated by almost everyone.
In addition to that advice, I would suggest that you go to the source for information about Frederick Douglass. Read his autobiography, it is enlightening and shows that he was not a hate filled person. He was grossly mistreated so some of the comments about him having it good are ludicrous.
What the heck is up with the article and subsequent posts? Have periods gone out of fashion?
Fredrick Douglas was a Republican.
I have to admit, as a conservative Jew, seeing the lib woke atheist Jews get eaten alive by their own social creations is somewhat satisfying.
