The pandemic saw people leave Democratic blue states in droves and head towards sunnier climes in the red states of the south to escape the strict lockdowns and spiraling crime.
A migration report from moving company North American Moving Services found those living in the states of New York, California, Illinois, New Jersey and Maryland headed for Arizona, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Idaho.
Four of the top seven states people were fleeing were located in the Northeast where the pandemic stuck first.

A great commentary on the efficacy of liberal policies. The problem is, dumb-{backsides} will turn around and vote for leftists advocating the same policies and consequences they just fled. Only a small percentage actually learn from their mistakes. They are locusts.

The two key elements of this story revolve around taxes and crime. If these ‘losing’ states had controlled spending over the past forty years, and not escalated taxes on all fronts....people would still be positive. If these ‘losing’ states had not soften up on crime...people would still be positive.

You have to wonder – is this what the Dems want? To make their strongholds so uninhabitable that their voters spread their plague on their behalf?

Have had this thought as a possibility for some time.
If this is the case, certainly seems to work.

There’s been a big uptick in crime in North Idaho and people are really irate about it.

Same in Idaho. Doubled in about three years!
This migration was well underway before COVID hit, too.

This exodus was happening before Covid, Covid might of just sped it up a little. I live in Middle Tennessee.
Nashville and all the bedroom communities/cities around Nashville have been seeing alot of growth, but it isn't just the last couple of years, this has been going on for many decades in Middle Tennessee. The main reason is Tennessee is a great state to live in but to be on the more serious side of things, Tennessee is a business friendly state and it is pretty much in the center of the Eastern part of United States, and Nashville has Three Interstates going through it, companies like to locate near where two or three Interstate Highways meet, In fact unless they make really small stuff they don't like to get to many miles away from the Interstate Hwy system. Locating 30 miles away on a State Hwy does not make the cut anymore, companies do not want their trucks to have to go through endless stop lights and stop signs to get to Interstate Hwys. That is why when you travel around the U.S. you can see multitude of small towns 20-30 miles away from the Interstate Hwys that ain't going anywhere, except for maybe housing for retired people etc, and people living on welfare or running farms or stuff like that.

The problem with liberal refugees is that they are truly too obtuse to realize they are the problem. They take their self-destructive politics with them and recreate their problems every place they go.

I hope the winter kills them off (metaphorically of course) like a weed infestation I get from out of town nursery plants. They have absolutely destroyed my entire state now.
