Well, we had a severe storm parked over us for a time last evening. It did not knock over some polls and caused some outages outside of town but thankfully no outages here in town.
We did have KFC supper and had a great visit to Comanche Lake yesterday. Here are yesterday's pics:

FLAG DAY POEM:
See me flying high
Red, White & Blue against the sky?
I am a symbol of freedom to so many,
Yet a threat to others.
Just remember one thing sisters & brothers…
You can tear me down
Throw me on the ground
Spit on me
Sit on me
Step on me
Burn me
But you can’t destroy me
Because I live in the hearts and minds
Of True Americans.

Yesterday was lovely.
I played bass in church, then went for a ride, and ended up doing an open-mike afternoon with two of my sisters. MA has re-opened and the music is EXPLODING! huzzah!
