Netanyahu has been in power for 35 years, 15 as Prime Minister. He jerked his country around by the nose bringing them four elections in two years while he served as the caretaker prime minister in his ongong efforts to outsmart the justice department.
In Israel, Netanyahu IS Schumer-Schiff-Pelosi.
He was on his way to bringing the country to its fifth election when the opposition --- all Netanyahu proteges on the right and in the center --- said "enough".
If Likud wants to return to a governing majority it will replace Netanyahu as Party leader --- and do so quickly.
Do not weep for Netanyahu and do not weep for Israel. What happened today needed to be done. As Gantz said to Netanyahu today: "Thank you for your contributions, we'll take it from here."
Don't forget Bush/Cheney, McCain, Pelosi and Schumer.
It’s going to be quite interesting to watch and see how those two operate trading spaces.....I suspect it will ok like it does here between Republicans and Demorats when they trade spaces after an election....unstable.
Odd to see some lament that Netanyahu only got 15 years as Israeli PM considering most Americans claim to dislike ‘career’ politicians and strongly advocate for term limits.

Thinking about Donald Trump's presidency, one of the biggest things he did was to acknowledge that Jerusalem and move the American embassy there. That may not be a big thing to most people but it was huge (yuge!). God chooses the leaders and uses them according to His plan. I believe Trump was used in such a way.
I too was livid at Netanyahu the night of the election. Congratulating that doddering old fool even before the dust settled but it is what it is.
Israel is getting ready to suffer for this in a big way. Bibi is claiming fraud as well which, it makes sense really. All strong, pro-Israel leaders must be removed, one way or another, before the evil one can take full control. Those assisting in the fraud are tools.
It was a necessary cleaning. After 35 years in power, 15 years as Prime Minister, after two solid years of manipulating the country into four elections to remain caretaker prime minister and out of prison, his time to go has finally arrived.
Now Israel can learn she is greater than one stinking (and I mean stinking) politician.

I USED to respect him a lot. Then, within hours of Biden’s “win”, Bibi called to congratulate him. After all PDJT had done for Israel ...
Israel will survive. Islam has Hell on its side but Israel has something better.
He was the first world leader to call and congratulate Biden. He did it before the steal was even complete. He has one of the worlds best intelligence agencies so he cannot claim he did not know. He did that after all Trump did for him and Israel.
The hell with Bibi! Obrador of Mexico showed far more class and backbone.
No he's not ... and Netanyahu, himself, was forced to clarify this. By "fraud" he's not referring to election fraud. Netanyahu was calling the new Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, a liar because Bennett had said he wouldn't join a coalition with centrists.
But Netanyahu's use of the word "fraud" was deliberate for his American band of followers. Once again he tried to paint himself as the Israeli Trump --- and Netanyahu most assuredly is not. Netanyahu, in power for 35 years, is the epicenter of the Israeli deep state.

The various parties went after Bibi specifically and had no other objective than getting rid of him. Part of the price they paid to do this was to give the Arab (muslim) party a seat and appoint Mansour Abbas (Ra’am) as deputy minister in PM Office, Chair Knesset Interior committee.
That on a government former with a majority of one vote It will not last and will crash at first real test. Bibi will be back.
