Top cops say they fear that the US could be hit by a horrific summer of mass shootings - with four states alone witnessing gun atrocities within the last 24 hours.

Savannah Police Chief Roy Minter Jr and Chuck Wexler, from the Police Executive Research Forum, said a recent explosion in the number of shootings appears to be a long term trend, rather than a blip.

Minter spoke after a man was killed and seven were injured in a mass drive-by shooting in the Georgia city on Friday night. The victim has since been named as Arthur Milton, 20. Seven others were injured.

He said: 'It's very disturbing what we're seeing across the country and the level of gun violence that we're seeing across the country.

'It's disturbing and it's senseless.'

Blame it on Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society which took the father out of the home and cause its future fathers to emerge as irresponsible hoods, drug gangsters, and unaccountable sex cadets in a total social breakdown. Black Lives Matters only reinforced their social irresponsibility and mayhem.

I am thinking of disarming Black people under the age of 25. At least they won’t be controlling their drug market with threats of gun deaths. Maybe the drug market will collapse because of market forces that don’t have the artificial force of guns to support it. Then the politicians won’t have their pockets lined by the Drug Cartels when the lucrative marketing plan collapses.

I wonder if these Leftnicks looked at Great Briton's gun-less society and how it affects the security of their families. I'm sure these anti-family, gun control wonks love it when they learn that London Assembly's Police and Crime Committee showed there was a 16 percent increase in 2016, and a 44 percent increase from 2014 of criminal offenses involving guns after stringent gun control laws were passed. What else increased their murder rate? The use of knives! That increase prompted London Mayor Sadiq Khan to say, "There is never a reason to carry a knife. Anyone who does will be caught, and they will feel the full force of the law." That will put all of London't great chefs in legal jeapordy as they carry their knife cases into their restaurant kitchens or to their knife sharpening service.

Like “working families” “the Senate is broken” and other propaganda cliches, the stupid term “gun violence” is used to mean all the people at home with their families have to give up guns because certain group of people is shooting so many with illegally held guns. That is an outrage.

Make a national effort to find and prosecute those killers. Save lives. Oops, too controversial. Go back to “gun violence” so confiscate guns.
