Beginning in the fall, the Austin Independent School District will be significantly scaling back the way it disciplines children who act up.
The goal is to reduce racial disparities, which show Black and brown students are being disproportionately punished compared to their white classmates.
According to data compiled by the district, Black children at AISD were nearly five times more likely than their white peers to receive disciplinary action, include suspensions, being placed at a disciplinary campus or being expelled.

As I see it, this would just force White parents take their kids out of public schools and put them into private schools or they will leave their racially integrated neighborhoods and move to “white neighborhoods” with “better” schools.
...and so my theory on CRT and other racial crap continues to be borne out: The purpose of all this is to make it ILLEGAL to complain about the preferences given to people from their specified groups. In other words: SHUT UP or have your life ruined.
Isn’t that exactly what’s been happening overall in the last 50 years? The cities are in ruins thanks to these ‘progressive’ policies.

Pretty much. There's still a fair number of schools that are what you can call "racially integrated". We probably won't see many in 20 years from now. So schools will be more segregated than it is today. Asians and Whites at their schools. Blacks at their schools and Hispanics at theirs. Private schools in racially mixed neighborhoods should do well. The demographics will continue to shift toward racial minorities at public schools in neighborhoods that are racially mixed.
I’m a teacher in an urban title 1 school. NO ONE DOES ANYTHING to the blacks as far as discipline. Every day is a nightmare. Most of us teachers joke about what does somebody actually have to do to get suspended here. Most of mine will just get up and leave the class, I’m not stopping them. They roam the halls in packs, they scream and yell, the “ladies” tweerk in front of rooms. They smoke dope, jump on each other, pull each other into the restrooms, yell at teachers who are actually teaching in their classrooms. Every day, I’ll have 2 or 3 just wander in my classroom, while class is in progress, and just walk around the classroom looking for food or pop from my students. We all know, even the most liberal doppy teachers, that there is absolutely nothing that anyone will do, administrators hide in their office. You write a disciplinary referral on them or call security, your a$$ is in the principal’s office and they are accusing you of being a terrible teacher and if you’re white, you’re in big trouble. So, I’ve spent the last 10 years actively encouraging my “blacks” to leave the classroom, going so far as to not even count them absent. You want to go to the bathroom, sure. You want to see your counselor, sure, you want to get some “walks about time”, see you later. Urban public education is a joke. No before you excoriate me: the students that stay in the room; the Hispanics, the Asians, the Natives, the few whites...they all do what they are supposed to do, and LOVE the fact that those others are gone.
It's time for the 'democrat black community' to stop inflicting their criminals and soon-to-be criminals on the rest of us. The conservative black community and the conservative white community are fed up with mini-thugs and soon-to-be criminals ruining the school experience for the rest of our kids.
The solution is NOT for the school system to pretend these out-of-control thugs were raised properly... they weren't...
The solution is to require 'parents' of thugs to attend 'parental training programs' whenever their kids are sent to the principals office more than 5 times.
Conservative blacks are mostly tv-style imaginations. No such animal irl.
This is exactly how the Parkland shooting was set up. People were telling the FBI police and school he was going to shoot it up. Every person who responsible for seeing that this didn’t blew it.

How about special schools just for Black and Brown kids that White kids can't attend.
I went to the same school for 12 years and never went to school with a minority. I graduated from HS in 1962.
That was back when teachers were still respectable members of the community.
